It's coming together nicely, when I did mine I used a piece of copper pipe that I'd flattened in a vice to put behind where I was welding, great for filling any holes I'd blown through. The boot floor is a good fit. She'll be on the road soon 😊
Interesting tip, I’ve just heard about this from someone else. Nice to hear it from 2 sources. I’ll definitely give it a try, got plenty of copper pipe in the garage.
It's been awhile since I've seen what you've been doing. I've never seen anyone else doing a boot floor like that. Am I missing something? I'm guessing you're not putting a battery in the back.
No. Preferably in a battery box behind the drivers or passengers seat. It’s a fibreglass boot floor from arc angels but I’ve got a bit happy with the angle grinder in the last rebuild 20 years ago so I’ve got to learn, move on and adapt what I have to make it all fit.

@@NickThornhill forgot to say to wrap some electrical tape around the part you hold or you'll get a shock
@@kingrolovtec I might use a magnet to hold it in that case.
You might find the welder doesn't like the magnet, mine doesn't don't know why.
@kingrolovtec I’ll do some test pieces. To be fair I’m not sure my welder really likes welding 😂😂
A lot of progress there, Nick. She’s coming together nicely now showing a little light at the end of the tunnel 🙂
Thanks. Yes was a great step towards completion.
She's gonna be like Triggers Broom😂❤
lol. 16 new heads and 14 new handles. Incidentally that’s what I call my bike 😂😂 4 frames and 6 wheelsets later amongst other things.
Built not bought...Nice one nick..
Cheers Nigel 👌
