I have given up on WWE as a whole, too many let downs in the past and the matches/stories bore me....I mean AEW is great but i feel like im watching old WWF in the late 90s with their gimmicks.
I want them to drop the tag titles so they can go back to singles competition. Asuka especially has so much more to offer on her own. Plus, the word on the street is that Kairi Sane and Io Shirai are going back to Japan when their contracts expire in a couple months.
I have fallen in love with this show. I’ve started watching them twice, once to catch the dialogue and then a second time to watch the scenes unfold. Beautifully hosted and fantastic editing AND I’m learning about a culture and their food I’ve known close to nothing about! Thanks!
I'm sooo happy that Reina is a part of the Gochi Gang from the First We Feast fam AND was able to speak with WWE superstar Asuka (who is one of my FAVE pro wrestlers!). Reina did a FANTASTIC job asking a little about Asuka (aka Kana) that I didn't even know!! But to shorten my little ramble, got me interested in eating eel!! I hope to see more of Reina doing her thing AND also be a part of Sean's HOT ONES in the NEXT SEASON!!!!!

It's great. That's what I always go for when I'm looking to try something new.

The second part if this piqued my interest in the connections between Japan and jazz. I know Murakami is a reverent afficianado- he mentions jazz a lot in his writing. There is also something about the improvisation within form, the restraint, the obsessiveness, and the romanticism of jazz that made the simile not a stretch
And here was me thinking that for about 15 - 20 years we've been talking about the decline of the eel. As a child I remember literally thousands of elver pooling together on my coast, today not so many. Worth so much more as food, shame (sad) and glad for the farmers. Reina is a great person it always makes me smile with the Japanese ladies covering their mouth when laughing.
It is good. Once you get past the "eww, eel" bit, it's like one of the tastiest grilled/fried fish you'll ever have. Up there with catfish, perch, and walleye. ;)
