    You have a 6 band EQ on each channel and an 8 band EQ on the main out all done from the app!! Much more EQ options than anything else out there. Of course you can change the mids!! Please dont give false informatiom. A good review otherwise.

    Приобрела сразу две, чтобы добиться жирного стереозвучания на уличном выступлении.
    Плюсы:
    выдает все частоты,
    адекватно воспринимает несколько микрофонов сразу, надолго хватает заряда,
    в приложении есть несколько позиций, запоминающих настройки;
    довольно лёгкие,
    удобные ручки сверху для транспортировки,
    несложная коммутация.
    Минусы:
    на шумной улице на всю громкость почти не слышно, при том, что я приобрела сразу две, чтобы добиться жирного стереозвучания, отходишь от источника звука на несколько метров - и звук вообще теряется;
    приложение для дистанционного управления отвратительное - при подключении через блютуз все время вылетает, работает как ему вздумается, долго думает при подключении - отключении, алгоритм включения все время разный (на авось), неудобное меню и резко двигаются фэйдера. Микшер работает более-менее стабильно лишь при подключении источника звука через шнуры.
    Вывод по JBL EON compact - только для небольшого закрытого помещения, салонного или домашнего использования.

    Holiday greetings 2022! A few days ago I decided to trade-in my four year old Bose S1Pro speaker for a more state of the art battery powered PA speaker. I was torn between the JBL Eon One Compact and the brand new EV Everse8 which costs about $150 more than the JBL. On Amazon a few people were complaining that the power switch on the Eon One Compact was a pain, even getting stuck with no way to get unstuck except let the battery die out! Uhh. That decided it for me, so I got the Everse8 three days ago. Outstanding speaker! Though, by Bluetooth, music on my phone or tablet sounded a bit muddy. So I connected my phone by a 3.5 mm high quality cable, and I got very satisfactory sound. These PA speakers are an entirely different breed, and you just will not get such high fidelity as with consumer Bluetooth speakers. But then, those home speakers don't have to reach out to 30-40 people from a stage! And as to the microphone preamps, outstanding clarity and power. The electronics, particularly the EQ, are very sophisticated to the point that this is really a PA speaker for professionals. Even gives a choice between GEQ and PEQ, and I think, what the heck are those?? :) I came to find out that PEQ, or Parametric Equalizer, is something I don't want to venture into; I'll just stay with the GEQ or Graphic Equalizer settings! :) The EV QuickSmart app faithfully connects to the speaker, independent of Bluetooth music transmission; it is so easy and yet powerful. I am very pleased with the Everse8; sorry to rain on your parade, all things tech! 😂😂

    You can easily control your MID Eq with the APP

  • @DaveZiffer
    @DaveZiffer 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    There are very few options for battery-powered bass amps, so one must resort to using PA systems. The Carvin S400 "StageMate" PA, for example, works very well as a battery-powered bass amp, but unfortunately Carvin no longer makes it. But back to the EON. Could you have a bass player play through this and see if it meets expectations? One of the problems with plastic cabinets is that they often rattle when bass is played loudly through them; I wouldn't expect this from JBL, but it would be comforting to see someone demonstrate it. Thanks.

      For Bass i would use a properly Bass amp of course. Or playing Bass in a keyboard with battery.
      It doesnt make any sense playing Bass direct in a such a speaker...

    As an owner of the first JBL EON ONE, I can say for sure that the Mic Pre-Amps are the WEAK LINK in their line. On JBL's website, people are complaining bitterly that it is the same problem with the Eon One Compact; WEAK MIC PREAMPS. Oh, I guess you could have enough vocal sound to fill a living room but that is all. So I use a Mackie Mixer, and connect the Main Outs via twin TRS cables to the inputs of the Eon One, and wow, the sound is so rich!

    I've owned two EON ONE Compacts for about two years. Not enough effective power to use as main PA speakers in midsized indoor or outdoor venues. For venues with no available power, I use my battery-powered 100-watt Fender Acoustic Junior Go with a line out to the JBL's as extension speakers. I would rather use two Fender Acoustic Junior Go's than two JBL EON ONE Compacts. My main complaint is with the power on/off switch, which must be pressed for several seconds to power the speak on and off. Doing so will eventually wear out the switch. I have had to replace the switch on one of my speakers two times at $90 per switch.

    Man a little too late for this speaker. I am a JBL guy through and through, but I needed something for wedding ceremonies, so I ended up getting a pair of Bose S1 Pro's and absolutely love them. Superior sound. The JBL looks pretty dope though. Love that you can take the battery out with ease.

    Just bought one, a little underwhelmed. Unless you run it very mid-rangey, it clips really early (AKG D4 mic in input 1 & nylon semi-acoustic in input 2). The distortion that sets in's not pleasant. So ok for small rooms, but as an outdoor PA, rather limited clean power

    Any chance of a video showing the wireless link between multiple speakers? I’m thinking of buying 4 for wedding ceremonies but need to see this feature to see the distance you get, the quality of the audio, whether it links the whole mix or just the aux audio and if there’s any delay. Thanks in advance.

    Really needs the individual effects to be assignable to a channel as chorus on guitar channel means chorus on other channels - basically useable

    • @paulneedham9885
      @paulneedham9885 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can do that. You can assign effects to individual channels. The send for each channel is independant for each effect.

    Οk man. This is a good (not great) job from JBL. Great speaker. Good application. Disappointed with the preamps (not good enough for electro acoustic instruments,so i work my own preamp). The most important is that you give almost 500 euros and you don't get a line out. 3,5 to 5 stars.
