Nice that you showed the app working. One tip for control knobs, I often use white out and mark where it is at the lowest setting so I will know where it is to adjust from there.

I have both the JBL and the Bose, the off putting feature on the JBL are the rotary controls and channel select, i like the input selection & the USB feature. The Bose has the standard controls, which i like is less complicated but not no many inputs or features as the JBL, its a close call but i would call the Bose, these rotary controls on the JBL are really disappointing

I have the Eon One Compact and when playing Bluetooth tracks it clips red at maybe 95dB which isn't extremely loud. I tried turning down the main volume and the Bluetooth channel but then its not loud enough. Any suggestions on gain staging?
Honestly I’ve found that the Bluetooths output is a little quieter than when you hard wire it straight in. Sometimes it’s the track quality aswell but if you find it not loud enough you might want to hardwire it straight in or add a small external mixer for a little more head room. You can also find battery packs that can power an external mixer or even a wireless receiver. Goodluck

How’s this speaker working for you now?? I bought 2 when they first came out and tried it at some ceremonies and it failed on me a time or two. But I still like them and use them for casual settings.

I just bought exactly the same speaker today, but for some reason the volume is too low, no matter how much you put up the volume it barely fills a small room, I know the speaker is pretty good and very loud, it could be something to do with the settings, I wish it's just a plug and play like that, I am going to contact JBL customer care

I own one. The digital effects are of low quality and are limited in adjust-ability. Thus the digital delay is worthless because of long repeating that you can't adjust out. I use a vocal effect processor and need to carry it with the speaker and it makes for a more complicated system. To bad on that part. Otherwise sound quality is great.

@@DjNinesworld Thanks I'll try that, but my Bose S1 Pro doesn't have that issue even though it is rated at 109dB max vs JBL's advertised 112dB.
u can turnoff sensor if u dnt like to see red alarm ,but red doesnt mean it ll harm the speaker,it turns red for just loud alarm
