    I have one of those too love the weight & battery life.. don't care for the led volume system

      Yea the led is not so accurate. Hope they fix that on the next one.

    I know this is old now but I’m wondering what you ended up deciding on with this system? What are you using for your gigs today?
    I have the JBL PRX One and need a portable battery system. I love the I/O on these new JBL and the deep app control is a big plus.
    Do you find this JBL up to par for your gigs in 2022?
    I just subscribed! Great content and you’re really creative!

      Hey thanks for the comment! I have been using a QSC k-10 for most of my gigs because I haven't had to be outside without a power strip. I am looking into Skaa Dani DI box that can make any speaker wireless. I plan on reviewing that soon. I would consider 2 JBL Eon's in stereo for if I did a park gig like I did in this video again for under 100 people. Hope that helps

      @@PhearNoneGearGadgets right on, thanks for the reply. It’s hard to beat a good plug in speaker. You can easily bring a battery generator to power the speaker as well as your other gear.
      A good handful of battery PA are on the market but they just can’t compare (yet) to a solid plug in speaker. I’m still looking at the JBL for smallish gigs because that app control and IO are nice.

    Nice job.
    *Maybe put JBL EON ONE COMPACT in the title, may get more hits.
    Did you have any issues with the power button. It's meant to be a common problem?

    • @PhearNone7
      @PhearNone7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching, and feedback! I think I left compact off to fit shorter title on one line. I,LL try again to put compact thou. I had no problem with power button, maybe I was lucky.

      @@PhearNone7 ...Seen. I just know a lot of people are looking at this speaker now, so if they search Compact you may hit more views and subs. Nice work anyway.

    I highly suggest getting the guitar wireless transmitter/receiver. Super low latency!! No wires!! Better than blue tooth!!

    Great detailed video! Violin sounded high quality. I have the Compact and find its biggest downside is that it clips/red light on at volumes about 90dB. I have tried different gain staging but clip light comes on even before the smaller Bose S1Pro. Any suggestion? Also have you heard the new JBL Eon One Mk2?

    • @PhearNoneGearGadgets
      @PhearNoneGearGadgets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks for watching I didn't notice the clipping issue when I rented the unit. So I wouldn't know how to trouble shoot that. I did see the JBL EON MK2. A bigger footprint for sure than the compact but not by much. More power is welcomed. If the bigger footprint is not an issue the Eon Mk2 seems enticing.

    • @thatjessedlife1479
      @thatjessedlife1479 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Weiss, I’m having the same issue with mine? Gets nice and loud but its clipping(red light) or soft clipping “bouncing the lights”. Going to try and factory reset and then update.

      @@thatjessedlife1479 Please get back to me if it works. Great speaker except this one MAJOR downside. JBL says 112dB, best joke I have heard in a long time:)

    I HAVE A EON ONE COMPACT AND THE SITUATION ABOUT THE REVERB ITS THE SAME FOR ME, I THINK IT ONLY WORKS WITH THE COMBO JACKS CHANNELS AND ITS DOESNT WORKS WITH BLUETOOTH. FOR ME ITS A GREAT PA SYSTEM, I MADE A SOUND TEST IN A PARK WITH PEOPLE WHO HAS THEIR OWN SPEAKERS AND THE EON ONE COMPACT WAS THE BEST. I WILL TRY TO BUY ANOTHER ONE.
    GREAT REVIEW.

    If you link 2 together, it would easily cover a bigger area?

    • @PhearNoneGearGadgets
      @PhearNoneGearGadgets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was out side so it was pretty big area, even thou the party was about 10-15 people. 2 speakers would have doubled the amount of people for a laid back event with no power. But if it’s a struck dance party another solution would be better for more power in bass.

    Thanks for the review. I've read the reviews of the battery powered #EONONEPRO and the reviews are #scarybad and dreadful customer service from #JBL. So bad in fact they've just released a mkii version to address the catastrophic problems, but that doesn't help their customers who bought the mki

      So true! I bought the Eon One "Pro" for $1,400 when it first came out, all it is, is a good Bluetooth speaker because that's all it does. JBL customer service, Terrible! Kept selling it for full price for years, finally blowing it out for $600 when the MK2 came out.
