DARKWOOD - The Three Scenarios of Chicken Lady, Wolf Man and The Musician Quest

- Sorry i misspelled the Chicken Lady, this is just my first video. lol
This video shows the possible events of each decision you choose. The key plays a huge role to this quest depending on the scenarios that will happen to whom you give the key, whether to wolfman or to the musician. And the video shows just how much the protagonist's decision could have on the pretty lady's possible future. #darkwood #darkwoodgameplay - เกม

I think these are the possible outcomes that I know of so far:
1. Killing the Pretty Lady and the Chicken Lady will ruin your relationship with Wolfman and put Musician Boy into depression.
2. Giving the key to Musician Boy will ruin your relationship with Wolfman. And I think it can go two ways. If you get the violin but not give the picture to his mother, the mother will mutate when he visits and will eat him. If you give the drawing, it stops the mom from harming him and he instead plays the violin next to his parents' grave, however, I'm pretty sure he still dies because he gets eaten when he visits the Pretty Lady. This is because the Pretty Lady is actually very obese, grotesque, cannibalistic and a mutant who is tied to her bed by the Chicken Lady and is suffering. So, either way, giving him the key leads to his death.
3. This I think is the "best" option in my opinion. Giving the key to Wolfman will make him happy as he will kidnap the Pretty Lady and eat her, afterward he will help you. Although this will make Musician Boy sad, it spares the Musician Boy from being eaten. This will also end Pretty Lady's suffering as she is tied to her bed because she is an extremely grotesque, overweight mutant.

the musician gets killed if you give the picture or not to the mother so basically you got to kill both parents if you want the musician to live but he's gonna be sad at you and won't talk to you so the third option is by far the best one so YES Mark was right and yes I was just curious

If you decide to visit the musician at his parents' house after giving him the violin. You'll find him dead ... I think his mother turned into a Chomper and kill him ... that's so sad.

if the player has not interacted with the Musician after his encounter at The Chicken Lady's House, and manages to achieve the "True Ending", then it is stated that the Musician managed to escape the inferno and is speculated to have been rescued. This happens as well if you follow his quest-line but kill his parents.
Uh, this video kind of leaves out a huge part of the musicians (and also probably chicken lady's) path that starts in chapter 2. The part where wolfman raids your base, steals a bunch of your items, and challenges you to meet him in some crazy saw style arena where you fight dogs for his entertainment and then he pulls out his ak and goes to town on you.

You forgot to add that if you side with the wolf, musician boy returns in chapter 2 cast out for mutating into a freakishly large monster.
That only happens if you don't feed him bread if im not mistaken
@@mr.arbiter996 No, that choice happens after mutating. If you dont feed the musician bread in chapter 2 he will mutate further.

RubenMijo It doesn’t show it in this video, but you see musician boy again in the swamp freakishly large, cast out for being a freak, and even sadder than before.
So all this video really shows you is no matter what happens, someone ends up pissed off. This theme repeats a lot in Darkwood, like with
*MAJOR SPOILERS:*
Forgiving the doctor: you can either kill him, or you can spare his life and take him into the swamp, where very gradually he comes to resent his decision of leaving and you and then goes completely insane.
Another example is right at the end of the game: you can either look around your apartment for a while and notice that things aren’t really okay, figure out you’re still in the forest and burn it down, or you can be ignorant and go to sleep. You die with everything if you burn the forest down, but you will have stopped the problem and avenged your comrades. If you play ignorant, you will have left the entity to feast on your soul but everyone is still alive, and they live in a Black Mirror esc. Simulation.
A major part of Darkwood is choosing between evils, and the result is one single something you wanted that typically dies later anyway and several problems you can tolerate. This is why I love Darkwood: there is no sugar coating. Where you are is fucked up. What you do is fucked up. The choices you make are fucked up, too. Like it said in the beginning: It will not hold your hand. Respect the forest.
The chicken lady was trying to protrct herself from howtobasic.
When the wolf is pressed against you and you get the choice to do nothing or push him away, if you do nothing what happens.

I killed the daughter with an axe first because i thought she was an evil spawn and would cause trouble, then i killed the chicken lady because i thought she caused the curse on the daughter, then I killed the wolf on the way back home because he talked hostile to me, then encountered the musician boy and killed him as well because why not.

So if you give the key to the boy, he could either die, or play it next to his parents grave. You give it to the wolf and he dissapears with the woman and you two stay friends. If you kill the two the wolf hates you and the boy lives in depression. Whats the right choice is my question 🤣🤣

There really isn't a good choice in this game. If you want to escape, you have to make terrible choices such as killing savages or causing others' death. Yes the savages may be hostile, but doesn't mean killing is right.
That's the point of the game.
So the best choice would actually be you the player make a choice without watching walkthroughs.
Give it to the wolf. You get a gun, and he thinks you're swell and considering the wolf is the coolest character in game, it's a must he think you're cool.
Also if you give it to the wolf, music boy is cast out of the village and comes to your hideout in the swamp, where he plays with a pong ball and gives you rats to eat or cook.
That is the best outcome.

So I guess if you go back and give the Chicken Lady her sister's bloody piece of clothing she will probs get depressed or something.
Also , I don't see the reason why you would push Wolfman away when he grabs you in excitement.
He is clearly expressing his thankfulness and appriciation (that is how I see it atleast).
If you do NOT push him away he licks your face (like a dog lol) and then gives you a hunting rifle , while telling you that you are not a useless piece of meat afterall (his way of showing you respect I guess).
I mean , it makes sense that he would get mad if you shove him away when he is just trying to be nice for once.
Also , I think that giving the key to him is the best option cus you build up your relationship , he gets a free meal , the "Pretty Lady" gets to find peace and the Violin boy lives.
And Wolfman takes you to the doctor's house.
By the way , I don't know why he didn't get upset when you slaughtered his dogs (assuming they were his since they were in his hideout) or why he didn't make them stop attacking you or teach them to not attack you (give them a piece of your clothing and tell them to not attack the person with that smell or something , I dunno).
*Tl:dr* -Giving the key to Wolfman makes him a happy puppy and earns you a free rifle + respect if you don't push him away.

I would not just push him away, but throw the rifle into his fire and tell him to quit his bullshit and just tell me directly where doctor is. I am normally a nice person, but when you are an annoyance since the beginning I am trying to survive in this fucked up mushroom forest and constantly brag about yourself and how you saved my ass.I will eventually just tell you to fuck of.
I have an uncle who hoards over 50 large dogs at his place and calls it a dog rescue, and he has 'dog training help', and the rest of the family wishes he'd be caught by the State for this because his dogs are all out of control, constantly fighting and trying to kill each other--and some HAVE succeeded in killing each other! natural dog and wolf packs are formed voluntarily, not like this. He and his daughter are completely unable to train those dogs and most of them have to be locked way anyhow.
At this point my uncle has given up on trying to train the dogs to behave (he just yells and screams at them to stop fighting or barking all the time) but he still feels honor bound to rescue every stray dog he finds out there. (it IS slowly killing him, by the way. He's unable to sleep and spends every waking minute cleaning up after dogs and cooking food for them. My uncle DOES care about and cry over his dogs)
So I imagine wolfman is similar here, except wolfman may not actually love or feel compassion towards his dogs; he's probably hoarding the dogs, possibly using them just to get them pregnant--which is not compassionate at all. And Wolfman already hates everyone else in the world because he's an outcast so he has no reason to bother attempting to train his poor dogs/rape-victims. Wolfman is probably depressed on top of all this, as he will never find another friendly humanoid to love so he goes around doing this to animals instead.

There is one more option you can do. You can kill the pretty lady then run to wolf and show him the bloody Shaw and the wolf will offer to kill the chicken lady you get no reward but it keeps him from being angry.
I don't think that the Pretty Lady was a cannibal (at least not by her own choice). She was carrying only a bloody shaw after her death, with no blanket on her. Considered a sister to the chicken lady (I presume that because the Hen and Pretty lady were gone at the same time, and the woman could've been suffering delusions) and plus, with the stuff about embryos in this game, and how Musician Boy seems to be considered a Devil child, and both his mother AND the pretty lady were half dead suffering monsters, I'm just seeing a rabbit hole that doesn't end, and I feel disgusted.

Note: if the musician's with you, don't feed him the food that he can't eat. He'll mutant but I'm not sure what will happen to him. Take Mark (he's still in regret I guess) for example, he feed him with a poisonous mushroom. And the musician can only eat potatoes.

I felt sad giving the key to the Wolf because he ate the Lady, but I honestly think that she was suffering in that room. And I don't know if she could harm the Musician if I give him the key...
In one of the endings where you side with the Musician and give him the key, I think if you kill the Chicken Lady too; the Musician ends up eaten by the Pretty Lady. Ironically enough, his best chance of survival is to not follow his path.

But I remember my ending being that he does survive. I gave him the key, got the violin, killed his chomper parents, went ahead to chapter 2 and burned the forest.
In the epilogue it said he hid under some hatch and once the flames died down, he escaped the woods.

Can anyone explain my outcome? I killed the chicken lady used the key to unlock the door at the beautiful lady house and the boy asked to go get his violin. I killed both parents and the boy was sad at me and somehow I gave the key to the wolf still and he still likes me and helps me? I think I broke the game? 😂
You just took the faster method of getting the key to pretty lady at a cost of chicken lady's life

The endings are two, and they depend on if u find out the truth in the final act or not. It dosnt matter how u get there. I highly suggest u dont spoil urself and just either play the game, or go along with mark
