- Sam Vincent is back! This time he's come to fit a DNA Stage 3 Airbox to his Euro 5 KTM Super Adventure S. Chasing some mid-range figures and a brilliant new intake noise, we couldn't wait to get started on swapping out the old for the new. The DNA Stage 3 kit is stunning and with it being orange, it's all Sam wanted! Quick test ride at the end of the video and there will be more on Sam's channel soon!
As always, it was a pleasure to invite Sam over and remap his bike!
14:10 for the intake noise!

Thanks again for such a good day! The noise this now makes is addictive! Bunch of legends 💪🏼
Always a pleasure Sam!
Great content as always
Very nice! Waiting for a 1390 bhp treatment 😁
Nice. I can’t wait to bring my little old 690 smc r up in a couple of weeks 🤗
See you then. 👍🏼
Glad you like bikes, else the biking world would be missing out !
We are flattered thank you 🙏
Awesome. Thanks Sam and bhp. Been looking at these kits. Definitely know what company I’m gonna use. Only crappy thing is I’m in the US. So I have to be ready to wait. Haha.
We can ship the States. Let us know if we can help 👍🏼
@@BHPUK I’ll be In touch when I get my filter housing ordered. But I think I’m going with the Rottweiler. So I’ll have to wait until there is some sort of mapping for it.
Has it had the valve clearances checked?
I only ask because it’s dropped a few bhp and that there is he midrange dip that wasn’t there before
Not sure, but it was a very hot day in the dyno room that day and the dip did disappear after the tweaked map. Definitely worth investigating. 👍🏼
Yes! Valves were checked about 2k miles before this and adjusted
Price?
For the map or the DNA Stage 3 kit?
@@BHPUK both please.
sounds naughty…
It is naughty!
So all that work and cost for a 0.5hp and 9 lbs of torque..not sure anyone would ever notice that....I would skip it
No one is going to notice 0.5bhp, but if you don't notice a 7% gain in torque then you probably need to visit the doctor and see if you still have a pulse😆
This is not an advert for DNA, although we do like their products and the Stage 3 air box is a considerable investment. It would be great if you could actually see the air box when fitted as it's an engineering work of art. Of course the cost is subjective and its your decision if the gains are worth the cost.
Ride a stock Bmw S 1000 XR it is more powerfull at the back wheel also 😂
Maybe, but have you seen what we can do to those? All Euro 5 bikes have compromised performance, ride-ability and throttle response.
But why stop at a S1000 XR? The stock Ducati RS has more power than the XR. But why stop there? The M 1000 XR has more power. Why stop there…..
The XR does not have the grunt
@@jamescurrie1285 The twins definitely have it on the torque.
