I didn’t see any nervousness in this eyes. He was more confident than me. I think if he is able to improve his English and keep this confidence, he would notch it up.
I think he was nervous when he gave speaking test but his range of vocabulary was impressive.if he will improve his fluency little bit and work on his confident level then he will easily get above 7BAND .

If one can speak the words as he spoke without cramping, he/she can get more than 7 bands in a real IELTS test.

His sentence construction wasn't good. Messed up grammar a lot of time. Section 2 was good and maybe that's why he got 6 instead of 5.
That's why cramped marks gets low marks

My constant worry before watching this video was that I generally tend to run out of things to talk about, but the questions they asked were quite interesting and I found myself having a lot to talk about so I'm really glad I watched this video. I hope they ask similar questions and I wonder what exactly is the criteria for picking the questions they pick. If they ask me things I do have a lot of material on, I'm quite sure I'd ace the exam.

@@entertainmentfactory2384 If such is the case then I think it would be very difficult for me, as I tend to use the word "like" a lot... And I do that very often subconsciously out of habit...Like even for these sentences I had to go back and erase the "like"s that I've mentioned without noticing!

Okay so I have this question! Like I think my english is decent, but it's very colloquial... The way I speak is not THAT formal. I mean, obviously I keep the grammatical issues in check, but it doesn't sound textbook ... Does this matter in exams like these ? Or would it result in getting my marks deducted?
It would only increase your bands as long as you are fluent and keep your grammar correct! Don't have to be this much formal :)

How is this a band 6.0? The boy is fluent, it might seem like he has had a rote learning but he is able to express himself in a way which is quite understandable. Is it because of the accent or the tone? Not sure on what basis you are judging this. I would say this is a solid band 7. Don't mislead people!
