    Thank you so much, this is one of the most brilliant tutorials on Trello for a complete beginner like me. I'm so excited to use this. The video was really informative and thorough. Basically everything you needed to get started. Do you have a tutorial on how to copy a trello board that has been shared with you?

      Excellent Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Teannah Psychic Sucker (do a google search)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for finding the best project management and business templates without the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.

    I'm watching this in November 2020. The steps are the same, but the interface has changed. Before I even got to name my project, I was offered the template/background setup option. You can have a colour or images to choose from. Then I was taken inside Trello, where I had the three boxes on the top left corner for tasks, ongoing, completed. Each of them has a + sign to add a card, or you can click on the top right corner of each box (three points) that opens a drop-down menu with more options. There's a small icon in the bottom right corner that allows you to 'create from the template.' Also, you have no options for attachments, checklists, and comments. You have Edit Labels, Change Members, Move, Copy, Change Due Date, Archive. It is very different a few months later.
    Thank you for your video. Despite the changes, the steps are still helpful.

    Really good and clear explanation Stewart. Question; If you have several people in your team working on one card, when one person finishes their task and ticks the completed box for their task, are the other members of the team notified by email that part of the task is completed? Or would you create one card per team member with their tasks on?

    • @StewartGauld
      @StewartGauld  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate,
      That is correct, if everyone is involved in that task. You can set it up how you like. Everyone can see recent activity in their own accounts too.

      @@StewartGauld I am referring to the checklists, not the individual lists posted on the board. The existing checklists can be selected within a card. But I can't figure out how to access the old checklists outside the card in order to modify.

      Use notion, it is free for students. Todoist has a 70% discount for students. There are better apps than trello and Asana. These are better for teams. Notion and Todoist are more for individuals. I hope you like it!
