And they wonder why most US soldiers have the mindset of soldiers for hire. Most of us who join the military join for financial gain . We're not interested in the politics we're here to get paid. If soldiers could get paid well to guard a Walmart we would probably do that. But it's about money. Always has been. Sure the public image is patriotic but the reality is most of us are from the working class and joined for the better paycheck.
One important point that Lux forgot in this video is addiction: society wants you to become addicted. To alcohol, tobacco, prescribed drugs or illegal narcotics, gambling, social media, video gaming, the internet, shopping, watching TV etc. An addiction keeps your brain occupied, numbs your common sense and empties your wallet. @@spiritualBaddi While correct that there are many factors at play, age is absolutely *the* major factor dominating the others by a significant margin. To go against that is to refute the wide body of evidence in obstetric research. Mindset (I presume what you mean when you mention belief) isn't going to give a 45 year old (
In hindsight, I function much better single than I did married. Society pushed the idea that I needed to be married and have kids to be viewed as a success. To the contrary, I much prefer my life post divorce and with grown out of the house children. To both sexes, think long and hard before committing to marriage and a family. Marrying poorly can be the undoing of you.
We are programmed into a mass psychosis of conformity and obedience. Perhaps because we've been preconditioned subconsciously to believe that social integration and acceptence is a safety net of survival, when its the opposite. We came into this world and will exit this world ALONE. Self validation and approval is all you need. Love YOU and conform only to your idea of life. In the end, everyone else will be irrelevant.
Re #8: *"When a society no longer has to deal with real conflict, it creates its own conflict just to keep itself busy!"* ^^ THIS! All damn day! I see people doing this all the time.
This is a hard challenge. Most cultures raise kids as a famly and neighborhood project so the burden isn’t all on one or two people. The flip side is 17 is peak fertility for women and after 25 rapidly drops so waiting past 35 means expensive treatments that usually don’t work. One way to have both would be to retire by 30 to focus full time on kids. Society won’t suggest this

Not sure if I fully agree with number 6. Paying off a home sucks at times but it's harder for someone to remove you from your property. Compare that to renting andddd..... You can be evicted because the landlord doesn't like you, if you mad a bad deal and don't know your protections, insane rent increases are probable. It's pretty split down the middle honestly, if you buy a home you can afford and not the one that makes you look "ultra-rich" when your really broke, you should be ok.
I’m not a million, extremely far from it…but society lead me to believe at one point that more money meant a happier life. WRONG, more money meant I was the same person in living in a better part of town. Honest truth, I finally broke into extremely low 6 figure income and my wife is really close to it. We have no kids and I can tell you, honestly, we’re no happier at close to $200k dual income than we were when we were $100k dual income. Same people in a bigger house that I hate cleaning most day and a nicer car that requires premium gasoline that I hate paying for. We’re not miserable by any mean but going from $100k dual income to almost $200k hasn’t changed one dang thing. I won’t say that money is overrated but society has convinced folks (myself as well at one point) that the more you have of it the more important and happier you’ll be…which is a complete LIE!
This is really accurate! It feels like people were so well brainwashed that they actually believe in all that crap and take it for its face value. 🤦🏻♂️

Nice! One career is not the only thing that an individual can be destined for! After mastering the second thing (only the first needs 10k hours), the third and fourth become much easier. Totally different sectors. Basically you’re learning how to learn. Albeit very very well, but still learning none-the-less. Cross-platforming is almost essential now. Being different makes ya stick out like a sore thumb though and they WILL try to take you out. They will try to fight you on your ground, and you will win, then they will join you. Kid you not. But often times they will join you on their ground. So aren’t we all!!! Change the future people!!! It’s right now!!!
If I listened to everyone in particular, I would have kids, get married, be broke, be depressed and have tons of unwanted stuff... Instead, I'm in a relationship, have no kids, have savings, have investments and as of the stuff? It's managable and I give some away to charities or something. It's better off to learn, than to follow everyone... Be a dime, instead of a penny.

Unless somebody is colourblind, the graph at 10:05 states that the number of employees in state-owned companies is *DECREASING* year over year, not increasing.
Well, I was sure that I would never agree about anything with this narrator. That just changed this minute. I agree with just about everything this lady said in this video. I work with a fertility clinic. There are sooooo many other factors other than your chronological age but it's all belief.
@@spiritualBaddi While correct that there are many factors at play, age is absolutely *the* major factor dominating the others by a significant margin. To go against that is to refute the wide body of evidence in obstetric research.

Society wants you to follow the usual norm of going to college ,getting a job and getting married. Sad. Won't be me.

Alux has stated some hard hitting facts here. This is one of alux's best videos!
Glad you think so

Thanks, Alux.
This video is spitting so much truth that i had to pause the video to think about what just had happened to my brain.
Might need to re-watch just in case..
The opposite of courage in 21st century is not cowardice, its conformity, doing a thing because everyone else is doing it.
Marriage.....the important point, society want you to do so you can be a perfect part of it.
Society tried to make me have a baby 🍼 I wasn’t ready to take care of
Don’t do it!! Ever!!
Society won’t suggest this
When I was in grade 8; I got in trouble from my principal for using advanced math equations on a test (in grade 6 I was helping my mom with her college math homework)…. The principal told me it’s not about getting the answers right or wrong… it was all about following orders.
Dang!! No wonder you never forgot that!

it's called patriarchy. that's how men do things.
The most shitty thing that society of India forces me to do is that to go to school
I've just cleared the school & I've stuck with a shitty collage & now the society forces me to attend their f'in lectures & exams(even if I ain't prepared for the exams)& I end up thinking that it would be better if I took arts but the problem is that.....their would be less opportunities if I did took arts & my parents won't let me took arts & why I wanna take arts? Welll I wanna be a self-learner cause ultimately my teachers are demanding "self study for exams" wtf...I was able to do it my self I choose science CAUSE of Biological & study of physics.....& I wasn't aware of this harsh truth!!! & now I wanna be a self learner but peer pressure is to score f'in good marks in college for a " GOOD JOB IN FUTURE!! Everyone can if they stop consuming as much as society desires us to.
I won’t say that money is overrated but society has convinced folks (myself as well at one point) that the more you have of it the more important and happier you’ll be…which is a complete LIE!
because 100k versus 200K is still small money

It's not our life to live when everything is a competition.

Am I hallucinating or did Alux provide information that's the opposite from what they showed at 10:04?
"China is a perfect example of this with the number of people working for state-owned companies increasing year by year" and then the graph shows that the number of employees in state-owned companies (in black) is slowly decreasing?
This is a GREAT one, guys. Both honest and impactful. Thanks for posting!

All that this lady said, it took me decades to see and feel the importance of what this woman narrator just got through explaining in this video. I never could like the education system in its present form. I certainly became a non conformist. For example, I really dont care much for a brand new car. I hope to find and purchase a fully restored 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix. At any rate my ambition is to be a tobacco farmer. To all you out there, believe in yourself and never abandon your dreams. To the narrator of this video, you are also very special and important.
