Did you ever find out what the yellow wire is? I took it to the metal place and thier tester said 10k but he said it wasn't 10k he didn't know what it was I got about 14g of it and can't find anything but this on it thanks

I am now scrapping like my 4th one on one organ i got like a year ago the busbars were 50% palladium and 50% silver and I got like almost 60 grams of it its real hard to sell this stuff without people trying to burn i called up a place yesterday and he said that he çould only give me $55 dollars a fr a month because it was scrap and im like how is it any different than bullion if its 99.9 percent pure when i had the 50 /50 stuff he kept trying to say it was plated even though he hit it with his gun that identifies metal and costs like $35,000 and I was starting to get really bugged because it being 50 50 makes it an alloy and definitely not plated he didn't buy it because he said it was plated so I took it somewhere else and settled for $900 when I shouldn't of with palladium at the time at $2500 I should of at least got $2000 because you figure almost two ounces and it being half palladium i got burned but I allowed it

Excellent! It seems that all you need now is to eliminate some residual copper with acids to leave behind the pure palladium. Good going!

I tested it and nothing was conclusive. I was told later on that its some type of chromium alloy.
