Teotihuacan

We visited the pyramids about an hours drive outside of Mexico City, these are amazing constructions that you can still climb and visit in Mexico.
We saw remains of the old civilisation and had a great meal afterwords at a cool restaurant called "La gruta", this a great place to eat after climbing up all the pyramids.
it is 80 pesos to visit with a student ID or as a Mexican national, and it's maybe 200 for foreigners.
If you go by car its the most comfortable, but you can also take a tour bus or even an Uber all the way there, and our friends had no trouble to take an Uber back to the city afterwords.
