I would love to try this out and watch it in action, up front and personal on a creek. Seems like it would work great. Good luck to you and your followers.
Yes I would like to see the whole design of the pump and the vacuum on how you have everything set up that you can make another video would be great thank you for sharing
Good idea man I like it the whole bucket idea is good in shallow water but go deeper than the bucket and its a pain!! I seen this type before in Germany but his was heavy but still floated!! good one man!!
Thanks for checking it out. I made an attachment that goes into a bucket too that captures most of the gold that I used to use before I made this floating one. Yea I might have seen that one, too. Did look heavy. This one is pretty light. Mostly just pvc, plastic, and light weight foam.
not sure if it would work with mine, I did not make one but bought one at a show here in BC The Mother Sucker.....lol I did not name it but like it!! and it pushes some serious water bit worried it might just blow the gold out the back!!
Hmm hard to know unless I compared mine with it. Mine pushes some serious water too though. That is why I made the back part go upwards with an incline. I can't really say for sure that there is no gold blowing out the back because I have not completely done a test checking the tailings out the back of it yet.
Yea I usually like to test out my designs before posting it to make sure it works well, because I usually have to fix something to make it better haha! So I try to post the revisions I make that improves it. Thanks for checking it out.
I wanna make one as we arnt allowed to ump dredge in Australia we are only allowed to hand dredge but how do you make the pump valve set up so it pumps the cons up through the pipe and into this if you could please explain for us cheers mate👍
Hey Anthony, Do you mean make the one way values for the pump, or how I made the whole hand dredge pump with the valve? I actually just bought one way values from amazon, --> amzn.to/2OcIzLh . But I may try to figure out a better way in the future to make my own that are more compact. These one way valve work pretty good. haven't had any issues with them sand fouling yet. I just put one at the beginning of the sanitary tee and one on the exit. If you are wanting more info on how I built the whole pump, I might have to make another video explaining that.
