My co-worker/best friend had a set of these for working on the nicer cars that came through the shop. First time I used them I fell in love with the feel of the handle and immediately knew I would need to get a set.
Got my standard wera set the other week and ill grab the wood grib striking cap vessels next. Looking forward to it. Still looking between the megadora striking driver vs the wood striking drivers though because i like the teeth feature on the megadoras but like the wood grips better.
I've been looking to buy a new set of screwdrivers and been looking at those composite wood Vessels and the Wera kraftform; but I am not sure if the lasertips may weaken the Wera's although I've seen they have a nice fit/hold and I'm not sure how comfortable those weird handles may feel after extended use. Have you had any experience with Wera screwdrivers?
Yes I have experience with those as well. They are good screwdrivers. I personally like those handles as well. It's personal preference though. Some people enjoy those shapes and some not so much. I haven't had any issues with the tips but I have heard of some who have said they are a little brittle for hard every day use. This Vessel doesn't have any tip feature like that but the fitment is amazing and I love this handle design. I think both are great screwdrivers
I have a vessel ball screwdriver and a wera laser tip. The wera is not as comfortable as people make it out to be. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad but it’s far from perfect. I find the shape and material easy to get hand slippage compared to my other brands even my $20 diamond kobalts with the goofy handles. The vessel and my Witte’s both get much better screw grip than the laser tip does. Again it’s not bad as something like a craftsman or a cheap Stanley but not the best. As far as comfort out of my sets I have which is 2 types of husky,kobalt,2 types of witte,vessel,wera and heyco and wiha I would say my new Heyco 2k grips are the most comfortable and fit my hand damn near perfect. I just got them so I haven’t used them yet but the comfort seems awesome. I’d say wiha and witte would be a close second.m as far as comfort.

Ya I wasn't sure how i felt when I bought it but man I love this screwdriver.
They should sell this screwdriver with the ball grip as a kit and call it the twig and berries kit.

The Vessel wood handles look like they would feel better than the Felo wooden handle screwdrivers.
