@@worldclassfad2 the reunion in the documentary was the final 12RODS show. This band in the '70's or early '80's would have possibly been given a better record deal because in those days they would have been put on the road & given possibly more than 2 records to prove themselves. It's sad that Ryan was a victim of an industry that has gotten only worse from it's own shortsightedness. In the documentary you can tell how catastrophic it was to a sensitive artist that had his dreams smashed, was left holding the financial bag & having to declare bankruptcy at 25.The12RODS story is a cautionary tale for any artist trying to "make it".These days an artist does hardly gets any royalties from recordings & must constantly tour to make a decent living but hey that's showbiz!😢
I hope more people discover this band. Split personalities is surreal
Loved their messing with the standard tempo on "Red"
always loved this song. drumming is fantastic.
So happy they're releasing new music this summer.
awesome band, always was....
I Am Faster sounds like heaven
THankyou for uploading this ages ago! It's great to see Ryan enjoying himself here. Seems so jaded and despondent nowadays, and for good reason too. x
Here's the thing... Chris McGuire's drumming is so fucking tasty
Agree - epic drummer
shame that i’m pretty sure he and the band didn’t get along though
@@laketoriverif thats true that is a shame :/ his playing speaks for itself, you can tell he studied jazz from a young age
Appears to be from Taste of MN at state capitol. Pretty sure I went there 25 years ago but to see others. Took me awhile to come around ❤
Stella is soooooo great here ❤
bassist always looks badass
I love this. There is not much better. Christopher is in top form
I watched the documentary last night, and if I'm mistaken is this his last performance with 12 rods?
