Would you rather have 2 points at 90% or 3 points at 40%.
He should be in a scoring position not playing point guard at all along with Booker, Suns need a starting caliber point guard and a backup point, allow your best scorers to score.
In a big 3 someone has to sacrifice massively, we’ve seen it with Love, Bosh and Westbrook. Those guys get the heat because people think they’re getting that same stats.
You won’t see that wizard Beal unless Book/KD sacrifice.

Beal was injured the majority of the season. He wasn't utilised correctly. That crossover backstep stop move every time I held my breath... Surprised he didn't kill his groin. He often played out of control. He's not a PG. Booker ain't a PG. We just have to hope that we can get one for the vet minimum.

I think if we are relying on Beal to be our main defender we are screwed. I agree with Stephen, Royce shouldn’t be our main guy either he should be that extra piece that solidifies our D. It’s just super difficult to see how this big three works tbh. With the way we are currently constructed our big three is heavily diluted with their full potential hence why I don’t think it’ll work. I honestly think we need to trade KD, and get solid starter/role players that mesh with book and Beal, but we’ll see if that happens. And draft a PG.
Side note: it still keeps me up at night when I look at 2020 draft where we got Jalen & missed on Haliburton, rip.

Beals never gonna live up to that contract anyways so his best fit should be as a sixth man of the year candidate
Suns gm should be using them 1st picks to get rid of Beal. Beal Booker Kd healthy in the playoffs and lost 0-4
@@mackattack81 I actually wouldn’t even be against packaging a 1st round pick with Beal just to get a team to take on that contract but his contract is so bad there aren’t even many teams that can absorb it or have the matching salaries🤦🏿and then there’s the no trade clause

You might as well bring in Russ & Serge. KD & Russ together could get out the first round alone. Add Booker it’s a beast after that. Bring Beal and Allen off the bench. Ibaka would have to be in the bench & a younger defensive/athletic big would be better starting while KD goes back to the 3
