    I’m an intermediate/advanced stepper, but I was feeling a little sluggish today, so I decided to try this video. I really enjoyed it! The slower pace was nice for a change, and I was able to throw in intermediate steps! Still burned over 300 calories! ❤

    First step workout with you. I have zero coordination so the 40 minutes flew by without noticing it 😅 I had no time to thinking anything but the next step. It was super fun!!! I burned 436 kcal and took approximately 5000 steps according to my watch. Thank you

    I have been stepping with you for about a month now. Been sticking with the basic 20 and 30 minute classes with one riser. .Today I did this 45 minute class with ease and I felt wonderful. This brings me back to my college days and doing aerobic step classes on campus. Absolutely love how easy you make it for us to follow along and love your positive energy and vibes!!

    Morning Cris. My daughter has been asking me about the step I’m doing. I told her I follow a fantastic instructor ( the best) on TH-cam and she’s wanting to an exercise rather just going for walks. Something fun and different . She’s never done step, so I sent her 2 videos of basic step , one of them is this one. She doesn’t have a step, so I told her to just put her bath mat down and use that for guidance. She’s just got back to me showing a sweaty Betty lol. Thanks cris your a star 🌟 ❤🇬🇧

    I did this yesterday and loved it so much it’s saved to my rotation. I prefer the basic step, as trying to keep up with the advanced choreography has me just standing there doing nothing at all. Thank you!

    I really enjoyed this one! If you are an intermediate/advanced level stepper, don’t just pass by this one. Yes it’s the perfect place for beginners to start, but adding a set of risers and moving at a slower pace works your body in a different way. It takes more balance at a slower pace and if you’ve done enough of Chris’s step classes you can play around with the moves by adding different repeaters, around the worlds, revolving doors etc. and really make it your own. I got a great sweat on and burned a little over 400cal. Thanks Chris!

    So AWESOME! I tried to get back into Step Aerobics previously (I'm in my 60s and step was my 'go to' cardio in the 80s) but the instructor's cues were hard to follow. Yours are great plus the way in which you break down the steps helps me in remembering the steps (e.g., rocking horse). Thank you so very much!

    I didn’t have an hour to workout today so this was perfect. I added another riser to make it more challenging. I think it’s great that you have videos for all levels. I would have definitely liked this as a beginner but when I started I was at a gym and it was tough. I appreciate all the different level videos you have. Thank you Chris!

    I loved the slower pace of this workout. I’m newly back to step after over a decade!! I would say I’m almost intermediate again so I know the steps, but sometimes it’s just too fast for me to keep up. Maybe consider adding a slower paced video for people like me who are trying to build strength and stamina? Thanks for all you do for us!

    Thank you so much. I know that you are an expert caller and have taught me a lot of advanced moves, but I appreciate that you have all of these basic step classes to chose from. Like you say, you can always remove a riser or just do the class without a step or you can increase the intensity with a hand weights/weighted vest/extra risers or getting your arms above your heart. I increased the playing speed for the last 15 minutes and had a huge smile on my face for the rest of this class. Thank you!!!

    With this slower paced workout, I added an extra riser and, wow, did I get a workout. 30 years ago I did 2 risers all the time but at double that age it's not so easy anymore. This is a great one to work back up to that. Thank you so much for all the great classes, I'm quitting the gym and will start to support you.

    Another good workout. I thought I was going to do a simple workout after I tried one of your cardio ones yesterday and am rather sore in the "I haven't used these muscles in a long while sore", so I put the raisers on...     Just found your site. Really enjoyed this workout. Couldn't get the around the world but I'm a bit uncoordinated LOL. I normally do weight training but I'm recovering from lymph node removal surgery and can't lift over 10 lbs so had to search for an alternative. Will check out more of your videos.

    I wasn’t going to do this because it was lower bpm. With a little encouragement from California Vicki I did it and was surprised at the impact a slower bpm had on my muscles.

    Im still mending from pneumonia... So I was only able to do the warm up😞
    But I'm giving myself permission to not mentally beat myself up... Doing something is better than doing nothing...

    I chose this today, challenging myself to two inches more step height. I died, went to hell and came back out feeling great and grinning like an idiot. 🥵😁
