With today's videos, I will explain why, after more than two years of use, I have decided to stop using these types of tools for many of my projects.

Interesting as Ive never used a gimbal and been producing social media content for 10 years now.
i agree with you 100%. nowadays i barely use my gimbal, and i do slow movements with my camera(r6ii) with grip. i also have the ef 16-35 f2.8ii and ef 70-200 f4. and it was a pain swapping lenses in an event. so now i got the rf 24-240 perfect underrated lens. and i barely use my ef 70-200; i would sell it. i also got rf 16mm. but i would keep the ef 16-35 for low light events. good video keep it up.

It is not a fad. Gimbal is very necessary for some jobs.
I buy one for a project and never use it again. But it pay it self in that project 😅 if my cameras could autofocus maybe i use it more.
Most gudgets are user specific, but some people think that their type of shootings applies to everyone, i invested heavily to a DJI RS3 and the monitor transmitter set up, that setup alone replaces 3 different companents that i needed for cooperate, events a normal shooting, i needed a PTZ camera and the controller, i needed a transmitter focus pulling etc and needed a gimbal, the DJI RS3 and its transmitter does everything of that a ptz camera does plus extra advantages, good PTZ cameras and their controllers are very expensive and the camera and the controller are locked just to ptz, but the gimbal option gives on the opportunity in camera choice, the camera can be used for other things, the gimbal can be used as an ordinanary gimbal and the monitor as and transmitter as a follow focus etc, The one gadget solution is why i love the gimbal, i don't need an extra shooter on stage for public shots, the gimbal on a C-stand does that with all controlls in remote monitor, user specific is what i can say, It is just how some people feel that the latest Iphone is a camera enough some don't

a waste of time, you contradict your title, use gimbal for gimbal shots, use tripod for tripod shots, use handheld for handheld shots, do story boarding before doing some shots
I agree with you, thanks for the comment. The problem is that so many video creators believe they have to make gimbal shots even when they are not needed. It is no accident, however, that at the beginning of the video I listed the merits that these tools have, despite which I have been drastically reducing the use of this tool in my work for a while now.
