I one hundred percent believe that Marisha chooses things matt made to let him expand world lore because she enjoys getting involved with it. For example in c1 all of the players had pretty generic backstories that were placed in the setting, but keyleth had the Ashari, which was linked to all the elemental planes, and with the lore surrounding the Aramente to explore. Then c2 she chooses the cobalt soul, which was mentioned a few times in c1, and once again it's something deeply embedded in the world and lore that he can expand on in many ways and reveal the homebrew for

@@erisplaysgames I seem to remember them saying that the original characters were created and then Matt used that info to create the world. Marisha loves Avatar: the Last Airbender and couldn't figure out which element she would focus on so they created the Ashari and made it so Keyleth would be going to each of the elements and learning from them just like in Avatar. They do all seem to enjoy helping Matt build his world though. Percy was a pathfinder character Matt redid to fit in D&D. Molly was a class Matt created for someone else that Tal then wanted to try out. If I remember correctly this class was originally created for Vin Diesel as a one shot to promote his movie at the time....
