Yasha, once bound in shackles and shadows surrounded herself with friends and melodies and found the strength to break free. From the Orphan Maker to the Chain Breaker
I can already see it happen. They need to bannish the bbeg to some other dimension or something, they get them through the portal only the portal won't close, it requires a sacrifice of some sorts. They're arguing over who should jump through and seal the portal but time is running out and the bbeg is almost back, then out of nowhere sprinkle willingly (aka Jester or Veth just throw him in there) jumps through the portal sealing it.
the fact that they all audibly released the breaths that they had been holding while Matt was weaving out this beautiful dream just shows how enraptured they are with his storytelling, and how much respect they have for him to wait until he's finished talking before making any noise it's also so wonderful how much understanding the players and Matt have between the story and the characters, how this goes beyond a tabletop game and into a world where these characters are alive and complex and intricate as the players themselves, and how Matt builds them into the fictional universe rather than building the universe around them
I'm convinced that The Traveler has made Sprinkle invincible just so she wouldn't be upset if he actually died. I like to think that Artagan truly cares about Jester, a lot.

While Yasha's wings are going to be a gradual change, I really love the idea someone posited that her hair would start growing in white again and she could cut it short to rid herself of the black. EDIT: looks like I was wrong about it being gradual.
I feel so bad for Matt with them all making fun of Vokodo's name. One of two bbeg's in my last campaign was a wormlike demigod named Ovocomodoro. He was called the Avocado Worm by all my players....
My players had trouble pronouncing the name of a lich in my last campaign, so out of frustration I renamed him to Sweetpea instead. They never forgot his name after that.

I was sobbing and screaming at my phone during Yasha’s dream. When she first said “I have to go” I thought she was going to Zuala and I was screaming for her to not go down and fly, just fly. And when she did, oh man. So much catharsis. I thought they were going to give us an art reveal like with Veth, and I was soooo disappointed we didn’t get new art.
Oh man, Yasha‘s dream was one of the most beautiful scenes in this campaign ♥️ I can‘t wait until she takes her first flight! The music you added made it even more emotional
Yashas dream sequence hit me harder than I thought it would tbh, and I teared up hard. The resonance of “letting go”, so you may soar. I loved every minute of it.

I do watch Talks and I dont remember this moment so you might be right however if it is working Fjord doesnt exactly portray it. Like at all. Its like he sees her as a sister and not as a potential partner. Its a shame and really disappointing.
That dream sequence is easily one of my favourite moments of the campaign. Matt is such a great story teller, but the cast are also amazing as their characters. I love them all
@@dndbasement2370 I've killed a players pet once, but it was in a system where they had fixed advantages and disadvantages, and one they had chosen was great destiny where they get to avoid death once per session. They did so, but were still in combat, and the big bad had noticed they weren't dead yet and would realistically coup de grace them next. that didn't really fit with the spirit of the advantage since it only delayed death for a round in this situation. But they had a cat that they had taught to wear specialty armor etc and had role played being basically a warrior cat. So, I turned to the player and asked, "Do you feel like I would be keeping to the spirit of the advantage if I had something happen that saved your character, so long as it made sense?" The player thought about it for a moment and said "yeah, tbh." And I said okay. And described their warrior cat attacking the BBEG before they could land the final blow on him. The BBEG flung the cat away and I rolled good for damage, it was pretty low. the cat was in rough shape but still technically alive, but the players when they went to move (the cat's player was unconcious) did something really really reckless and ended up basically finishing off the cat. The player was devastated, but didn't hold it against anyone, and went on to make a shrine to his guardian cat spirit in the game.
Matthew mercer has this way of explaining things, narrating them, showing you in just the perfect way what he sees in his mind's eye, and it's always breathtakingly incredible.
I’m 100% certain Matt would’ve made Veth take the disintegrate spell had Vokodo succeeded. Jester would be a good choice as well, but Veth would hurt Caleb more. She’s a second mother to Caleb, and had he been responsible for killing yet another mother figure, it would ruin him.
Considering how Veth has the ability to take no damage on dex attacks on a save and her massive dex save number, she and Beau would have been the safest people to target without killing anyone in the party. Veth probably would have hurt more though yeah

Ok. Yasha dream.. Who is caught up to E118?. Does it look familiar to anyobe else right now. Yasha is a freak revorn soul. Who accepted her past and is getting all her memories back. This is what the Storm Lord has been guiding her towards. Ya'll this is epic.
It's pure joy watching everyone react to Yasha's journey. Everyone at that table is rooting for her. Ashley is the breakout of the second half of Campaign 2 IMO.
Sprinkle needs to get a kill at some point. If Jester gets a "How do you want to do this?" She should have Sprinkle run up to whatever they're facing and like bite it's jugular vein or eat an eye or something.

Is it weird that when laura and liam went Baltimore by say things like water and thank you i smiled cause laura saying it was cute and the covering of her mouth and the happyness in her face but the joke wasn't funny since lived in baltimore before and i live in maryland and thats normal for us. I wasn't really upset but its like having everyone else laugh when you talk normally thinking its funny that you use an accent when your just talking normally. hmm

As far as i know, disintegrate disintegrates the target creature and the nonmagical objects it's wearing. Other creatures should be unaffected.
