GREAT VIDEO! I especially liked it when you removed the bolts that you inserted them into the new pump to keep track of which bolt goes in which hole. I have a question though. Is the thread sealer just used to keep the bolts from seizing up over time? Could I just use Permatex Aluminum Anti-Seize Lubricant? Also, how do you burp out the air from the system? Is there a bleeder somewhere? And lastly, sine my truck has 180,000 miles on it, would it be a good idea to go ahead and replace the thermostat while I have the system empty of coolant?
On these 4.7 engines with the blender screw you have to use this to get all of the air out of the system. If you don't do this your heat will not get hot and the engine will run hot. If these engines get hot you will lose your valve seats ruining your engine.

You should tell people to burp the air out with burp plug and radiator cap off until all air is out or it can overheat with trapped air on 4.7 engines

says 4.7 on the resonator box
My thermostat is on the top hose not under the engine. 2007 5.7
I have an 08 ram 1500 and that is not what my water pump looks like
You have the 5.7 then
