As a beginner, pick a cab with 8 charge points (Hunter, or Sprinter) because this determines how many guns, and accessories you can use. You can get up to 4 Chords, and nothing else with 8 points. With 7, you can only have 2, with a Jack to right yourself. 3 Chords, a jack, and a cooler (Or an Aviator Booster) is about average. Also, try not to use 2 frame parts, if you can do it with 1. This means you can bolt 1 more panel on for ablative armor (The panel gets shot off instead of hitting your cab.) The gun mount can take a lot of damage, so it's a good single piece to cover you front, and rear. Finally, it''s a good idea to have 6 wheels, so 2 can get shot off without losing mobility.
I love your videos so youve still earned my like, tip one your frames i use the smallest ones too, turn your rear frame so each tire is on its own frame not sure if you have 6 of the little ones yet but it helps you keep your wheels longer
I guess you could call this build the Hammerhead. Looks kinda like the hammerhead on the hammerhead shark. nice vids, really like these lower end builds. Trying to put something together for the new player, hmm not so easy. lol
I wouldnt recommend new players to sell things at the highest current buy price (the list at the bottom). when you sold scrap at the start for 5.25, you could have easily listed it for 5.48 which was the current lowest sale price. that will definetly sell too. especially for scrap. always make sure you check the prices tho. if the current lowest price is a big jump cheaper than others, list it as second price or so on and try to get your highest value out of it. may take a few min, but you ill get it. same goes for when buying the cab. you go to trade, look at the current highest buy prices ( the 4 at the bottom) and then either match the current highest price or if you are really desperate or theres lots of offers on the current highest price then you only raise the buy offer by 0.01 coin. especially all the white stuff buys and sells really quickly, so there really is no reason to rush selling or buying anything. just play some missions between if you cant wait.
yer thats what im saying too. but theres plenty of items that sell a lot and fast. there its better to just hold the current lowest price, otherwise you just start an underbidding war. and especially resources and white items sell so quick, thats theres no need to lower prices
0:55 , you did the same thing as autosell, thats not how to sell items on market :D. You need to check the sell price then sell 0.01 cent lower ( for example the sell price is 5.50 then you need to sell it for 5.49). You just lost a ton of gold ( for a new player). Edit: No hate, love your vids :), anyone reading this, dont sell items like he did.
It's pretty interesting watching the process by which a new player has to navigate the game. So many limitations to work with. I feel like I need to buy a PS4 so I can start fresh on a new platform haha
Biased_ Nemesis If it helps alleviate the grind, I can tell you as someone with many, many hours in game, you can have the same amount of fun at every level of the game. Getting to the top and playing at 13k PS with all the best gear is no more fun than playing at 4 or 5k with early/medium level gear. Once you find a playstyle you like, you can play that at any level. For me I love fast builds that look cool and hit hard, and my builds are mainly around 6-8k. The grind is there to get you to part with money, but the best players (in my experience) are not the ones who spent money, but the ones who found a style of play the like and learnt how to play that way while they built up their levels and parts.
Biased_ Nemesis If you like cannons, avengers are a good choice as they allow you to sit back behind your team a little more and see how the battlefield flows, I use dual avengers all the way up to 6k sometimes and in the right hands they can do a good job. Shotguns are also good, luparas hit hard at higher PS levels too, especially with a couple of radiators. Don't focus on winning and you'll enjoy the game more, just try to stick with the pack and learn to check the minimap every few seconds, and if you can install a radar detector or standard radar/radio, then you'll be helping yourself and the team: information is one of the most powerful weapons in the game.
Arkanoid McZombietron yea i was gonna try avengers on my build since im working towards getting gl 55 impulses since i got a rental one of them and liked the playstyle so i can grind out a few ammo boxes now while i use cannons
Easy raids i dont see possible with common parts, and now you cant just sell your blues to get purples you have to grind for an even longer time to gain these weapons that people are putting on low ps battles just to go against you, last update they said they were makin armor matter less for you ps, feels like they did the exact opposite, this update make it easier for new players but again did everything to make it harder dont know if theres a language barrier or what but im so disapointed in the past few updates
Can'y quite agree with that, easy raids at the start ain't easy but very doable. More a point of trying to control or follow the rest of your team. Even if they mess up, safety in numbers. I'd say its less about your weapons and far more about the team.
Sorry not having a go at you. Just haven't had an issue tackling easy raids. "Normal" currently at my level is ott but I've only been playing for just over a week.

Absolutely horrible business model Mr. G runs with selling the stuff under Marketprice. New Players please... do not do that!
Bikaz9 i tend to sell for a penny less then the cheapest for sale most of the time is at least 5 gold over the highest bid

if you dont play Eve: Online,. you can build your character as a market pvp specialist. from your comment I think you would enjoy it.
He's also a youtuber so probably doesn't want to wait an hour or more to do a 30min video.
Wait WHAT!! That thug cabin. I didn’t know that existed?! Why isnt it on console?
