Hey Alex, i Almost forgot. When putting on a New Belt , allways Put the Belt on the Motor Pulley / Deeper / smaller pulley first. Then spin to drop onto Larger / shallower pulley. it is sooo much easier that way. You Have alot more leverage with doing Larger pulley Last. Just something i Learned after doing this for 40 years. Also --- i Don't Believe that was safe accessing that Exhaust fan that way. Loooked kinda sketchy to me , Greasy exhaust fan , your ladder sliding / moving. Sometimes you have to say " no way man ! " Renting a Bucket truck for the day would have been a safer option. Winding up in the Hospital, Parallezed for Life , Falling off that sketchy ladder & maybe landing on those stairs with a broken back - Just to change a Belt. i Would Have said to the boss , Thier is no safe access to that exhaust , We Need a Bucket Truck to Work on safely. Safety First ! its only a Fricking fan. Stay Safe Man ! Your Family needs u around.
Good vid Alex, For Attics - Allways, Allways, Allways - Bring a Little Fan up with you to Attics & 1 bottle of cold Water. Work smarter , not harder as we get older. im almost 60. yikes 😬 ! i Have a Little 12" Fan i Got in Home Depot. Works awesome ! a Little Fan blowing in your face can make all the difference in the world. plug it in at Furnace outlet. Maybe - You could even Make up a special " Attic bucket " with Pvc cutters & 3/4" pvc fitings & glue in the bottom of bucket & Fan in bucket with a Little drain blaster co2 gun in there. throw a few bottles of water in there too. Maybe - shave the Beard in summer. Grow it in Winter. Thats got to be hot as hell in summer. inventory suggestion --- i use the " Notes " section on my iPhone. Make a Page --- " Belts on Truck " A24 A32 etc i Then use the " Reminders " pages on iPhone i Made a " Reminders List " --- Parts needed to Re-stock i Also Have a Reminders List for each supply house so, when i walk into that supply house i check that list for parts that i want to get from there. Your Phone is allways with you , so i find it works out well. Good vid.
Another great video Alex....love how you write the inventory of what you have I need to do that with my belts......I saw the title of the video and i don't look forward to the heat I hate it but long sleeve and cap ..... great work again be safe till the next video..have a great day
One reason the heat in an attic feels worse than observed temperature is because there is no air flow against your body. The human cooling system is evaporative so a fan will save the day even in a 100 degree attic. But it needs to be a substantial cfm pointed right at you, ideally before you get overheated. There are decent battery fans that use your tool’s rechargeable batteries.
Theres allways electricity pretty much in attics , so a cheapo box fan works good or i have a 12" fan from home depot. just plug into furnace oulet in attic. Furnaces in attics have to have a outlet so electricity is most allways available unless outlet is tripped / problem. then battery powered fan would be awesome.
take your pouring sweat in the attic and raise it by having to find wiring buried in 2' of fiberglass blow in insulation. been there done that or an attic that is hardly crawling space. full body bathing in fiberglass makes it much better! either way not fun lol.

#64 thumbs up
I would have been running that A/C into the attic just as soon as I had the clogged condensate fixed!
Yep , definately if possible. Pop one of the small ducts off and turn towards you. then just re-attach upon leaving.
I feel so lucky, most indoor equipment is located in the basement and Exhaust hoods are located on the roof not mounted on the side of wall in my area
feel sorry for the electricians and plumbers whom still have to work int hem then ;)
What GoPro mounting kit are you using? Body harness or head strap?
Head strap brother, thank you for your support!
Your company doesn't have an inventory control system?
Nice video
