    I have to tell you that this absolutely worked for us! Watch BOTH videos and be very careful about applying it exactly as described so you don't get anything on any other plants. Everything told us to wait until the end of summer, but I got inspired and wanted to "get it done." Everything I read said to wait until after the plants finished flowering, so I did... for 4 days. I applied it exactly as directed and the first day, the CC was looking weak. The Third day, it appeared to be springing back and I thought that Charlie had won again!?!! Ten days later, it was brown and just flat out DEAD!!! COMPLETELY DEAD in ALL Areas!!!
    If anyone wants some Triclopyr, I have plenty left! One treatment and DONE!!!!

    I’ve had great results with Tzone SE which also contains tricopyr but adds sulfentrazone as well as 2-4-D and Dicamba. It covers a lot of ground (1.5 oz per 1K sq ft) and even knocks down woody vines ect well. Also pretty affordable especially considering how far even a 32oz. container goes. As long as you are applying it to cool season turf varieties (check the label if you have warm season turf), you can apply in the summer, just follow the directions and do not apply it when temps are over 85 degrees. I typically apply herbicides in the evening when the grass is dry and the sun is going down to avoid that 85 degree mark. Good luck, this stuff works great on creeping charlie - just make sure you keep it away from plants you don't want to kill since this is a potent herbicide.

      Believe me, I wanted to. My neighbor does not want herbicides on his property. The fence is a slat anyways and it still grows through even if I spray to the fence. This eradicated it from my lawn and I plant to stay on the property line this summer with spraying to ensure I keep it away. I would refer you to the specific info on the product label. With most herbicides, Once they are applied and dried they advise it is safe for pets and people to reenter the treated area. I typically spray in the evening and let it sit overnight. As far as rain, I would give yourself at least 24 hours of no rain when you apply, but it should be rain safe once it dries. As for the moles, they are a lawns friend. They are insectivores and do not eat the turf as is a common misconception. They are seeking grubs, such as Japanese Beetles. If you don’t want moles, apply insecticide granules to kill the grubs. Better yet, leaves moles to do the job and help aerate in the process.

    Does this kill crabgrass, dandelions and clover too?

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Triclopyr will definitely handle clover well. I would use a more of a broad spectrum broadleaf herbicide to cover the rest - something like SpeedZone or Triad Select - I have used both and they work very well. Thanks for watching and good luck with the weeds!

      @TheLawnLover  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      According to the product label, it is safe for people and pets to re-enter the area after the product has dried. That said, I typically like to spray herbicides in the evening and allow them to dry for at least 12 hours overnight before re-entering the area. I would refer you to the product label linked her for more specific information www.domyown.com/msds/Triclopyr-Ester-Label.pdf. Thanks for watching!

    Not when mixed up per container directions. So made it double strength and sprayed about 4 days ago. So far no effect on CC.

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      How long did you wait after the initial application? It usually takes several weeks to start seeing results. I wouldn't recommend applying this herbicide at double the rate, it is a very strong herbicide and will damage good grass.

    The moles are after larvae in the ground. Look into getting rid of them, if the moles food source goes away. The moles go away. 😎

      The moles come over from the neighbors. My lawn is treated for grubs and pests. They explore a bit and go back over into the other lawn. I trapped him last season and haven't had the issue since. Thanks for watching!

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I had best success with this in warmer temps (daytime temps between 60 and 80). I would NOT recommend applying it when daytime temps exceed 85 degrees to prevent damaging to good grass.

      Luckily, I have not had any issues with it after this. I used the Triclopyr for two applications to kill it, and now I just spray pre-emergent back there in the fall and spring to prevent it from creeping over. We are over a year now with zero of it back in my lawn - stuff worked great. Thanks for watching!

If this don't work after a couple hits or so, I will try Fahrenhiet that I haven't opened yet. Thanks for the reply.
