I totally understand your thoughts as we live in a society that tells you EVERY SINGLE DAY that there must be something fundamentally wrong with us, especially our appearance and especially our face. But actually, there is nothing wrong at all. And when I look at you, I genuinely see a fairy, with the blond, delicate hair, the beautifully light complexion and especially that (as you mentioned) your eyebrows and lashes are usually lighter. Also, if you think about it, we're the result of features that our parents loved about each other, our grandparents loved about each other and so on and so forth. So for example, our hair might have been the first thing our dad noticed about our mom when they met. Maybe this thought helps, looking forward to seeing you just as you are, because that is beautiful! Have a wonderful week!
it takes so much strong deliberate and conscious effort to rewire thoughts and opinions about yourself, but you can do it! over the last 4 years I have experienced worsening eczema (all over, and eventually my whole face too) that made me hide myself away and I am now in the process of healing and having to un-convince myself that I am ugly. It has been really hard but so freeing. No one is harsher about anyone's appearance than oneself, and as women we are taught to constantly worry about how we look. I can guarantee that Kenny thinks you're beautiful just as you are, and he probably tells you this too! Men see us in the light we often can't see ourselves. I actually remember when I was in one of my first relationships and I wouldn't go anywhere with my boyfriend unless I had a few hours to get ready and do a full face of make up. He would always say I was beautiful without it, but I just didn't believe it and it brought a lot of insecurities into our relationship. I think the key is self love and then all the rest will follow. You're such a lovely soul and you're so brave to come on camera without make up even though this is a big insecurity of yours. Take small steps every day to accept yourself without it and eventually you will learn to love and accept yourself exactly how you are which is already beautiful! PS when you started crying I started too, I get so emotional when I see other people cry especially when I can feel their sadness ❤️

aw Hannah this was such a lovely vlog. it was so sad to watch your struggling with your insecurities but we’ve all been there! I had really bad acne in my early twenties and would avoid looking at myself in mirrors until I had makeup on. During the pandemic, I spent so many days home alone with no point to wearing makeup that I eventually made peace with my appearance and my confidence has only grown since then!! I hope you continue to practice showing up as your natural self and learn to love you skin as well. You are beautiful inside and out ❤️

I have spent my whole life thinking I am fat. Last year we found some old holiday photos and one with me age 13/14 in a bikini top looking super slim, and I cried. All I remember that day is hoping no one thought my tummy looked fat 😔 it is a long struggle, do not belittle how you feel. You can learn to love your skin, we all think you are beautiful with or without your makeup xxx

I do empathize with the no makeup problem. I started wearing makeup due to acne and acne scarring. When my acne went away and my skin improved I just couldn't go makeup less. Before I got acne I was super confident in my skin and just wore blush and mascara. I'm also working on being able to go makeup free🤗

I had really bad acne in my early twenties and would avoid looking at myself in mirrors until I had makeup on. During the pandemic, I spent so many days home alone with no point to wearing makeup that I eventually made peace with my appearance and my confidence has only grown since then!! I hope you continue to practice showing up as your natural self and learn to love you skin as well. You are beautiful inside and out ❤️

Couldn’t relate more re the no make-up. Also blonde, pale and have blonde eyelashes and eyebrows. Being a natural blonde is a blessing and a curse it feels like! I had exactly the same ‘realisation’ at school and still do struggle with insecurities although not as bad as it was. Good on you for getting in front of the camera. I have spent my whole life thinking I am fat. Last year we found some old holiday photos and one with me age 13/14 in a bikini top looking super slim, and I cried. All I remember that day is hoping no one thought my tummy looked fat 😔 it is a long struggle, do not belittle how you feel. You can learn to love your skin, we all think you are beautiful with or without your makeup xxx

I do empathize with the no makeup problem. I started wearing makeup due to acne and acne scarring. When my acne went away and my skin improved I just couldn't go makeup less. Before I got acne I was super confident in my skin and just wore blush and mascara. I'm also working on being able to go makeup free🤗
