The idea of having the client to experience the cut between 2 clippers, explaining to him the differences and having him choose was fenomenal! Great out of the box idea and unique. The quality of the video, not to long or too short. Just great content. Thanks for your time. God bless!
Excellent review, and it’s refreshing to see a TH-camr the cuts very similar to myself “no guideline needed”. Although I have found the best clipper trimmer foils I’ve used in over 30 years, I still keep an eyes out for new innovations in the industry. Love the way you made this video by including your client as my clients help me ultimately to decide what products to stick with.
S.craft, you’re the goat brother.it’s crazy how you can fade down like that.that’s more then a barbers eye bro.u don’t give yourself the credit u deserve.
Babyliss new ecosystem is great, however it does have drawbacks that you have to consider. To start you would have to re-purchase every machine you want to use in that ecosystem. You will also be waisting time interchanging batteries between different machines, and/or constantly be on top of making sure batteries are always charging which ones need to be charged. JRL with a 5hr run time and the charging dock is more than enough for you to always stay charged.
Great review. I have had both clippers and both had different issues and had to be retired early. I'm eager to see these new improvements in these clippers in action. Until then the Caliber 50cal mag (with 8hr run time) are my go to!
Bill pro bl600 take a look at that clipper 2speed 7000 and 9000rpm 55$ I have eversince blades on mine best clipper on the market in my opinion..and it a rotary motor
Bro Shannon has to be the best barber on YT. His fade blends are the smoothest and cleanest. I love the content. Both these clippers are awesome but if I could only have one, I’d go with the JRL Onyx, even though I prefer the design of the Babyliss FX One LoPro’s. Thanks S.Craft for the video 💯 🫡
Thanks to this video I actually learned how to fade my hair and now I just purchased my jrl onyx along with the jrl trimmers which are fire but this technique has helped me get a lot more confidence and helped me improve my fades… thank you so much
One of the best reviews I’ve seen thus far 👍🏼 reviews should be like this more often. Just think you forgot to show the end results of each side of the fades
Jrl: Improved durability. 4 to 5 hr run time speed setting click lever charging dock battery indicator Faper blade superior cosmetic appearance way quieter Buy two jrls that is 8 to 10hrs run time While you can have multiple interchangeable batteries for babyliss, having 2 clippers divides the wear n tear up between two clippers instead of having 1 babyliss clipper with multiple batteries! While Babyliss is doing something cool with the batteries, it still cant compete with JRL shot for shot. JRL IS THE KING RIGHT NOW. The durability was a major problem before but since they've fixed this issue nothing stands in its way.
i love my babyliss, but for free hand cutting, as in "holding it like a pencil" & cutting flat-tops & such, u just cant beat those jrls! theyre light, run forever, & they absolutely refuse to get hot... great clipper! god bless & thank u sir
S.craft I love your videos my guy im a big fan of the JRL ONYX over the Babyliss FX ONE pro. Keep on making these they are damn good ! God bless im a barber as well and I’ll see you at the 🔝
The battery eco system would be great... but then again thats old and been in other tools like you said. Seems kinda odd that they had the snap fx and are already moving onto a different looking battery system. With the JRL 5hr and reset IQ/charging doc theres no way u run outta juice.
If theres anything thats worth its weight in gold, its honesty. I appreciate you my brother for giving a detailed honest comparison. They both seem like great clippers so its still a tough decision
i bought the lo-pro fx because of you with the fusion blade. been my dailys for this entire year. please do an in depth review of the fx one model! really looking forward to this releasing! appreciate the content you put out.
The babyliss are cool, but they said they only come with one battery, with the clipper. Kinda' sounds like a money grab for extra batteries. It would only make sense, from an economical standpoint, for the consumer, if it came with at least two batteries, like the snap fx, otherwise it's just a regular low pro. What you think craft?
So I picked up both... The Onyx is probably my favorite, but I really like the Lo-Pro FXOne too. Can't go wrong with either, but the Onyx is on a new level.
Started cutting my own hair just from looking at how to vida ordered a few clippers to see what felt best and kept the lo pro one they felt the best and i dont know shit they cut similar so what ever feels best
Do you happen to know if any replaceable blades from other trimmer brands fit the 2020t (and onyx). JRL replaceable blades are kind of hard to get in europe (especially the onyx replaceable blades). I know Philthy Blendz makes an adapter for the trimmer to be able to mount Babyliss blades, but i was kinda hoping i wouldnt have to resort to buying that adapter as it is 24 bucks + shipping costs for just a piece of plastic.
I just bought my first jrl clipper the onyx I was impress those clipper it not loud just perfect and cut smooth but the only thing I wish the lever is little bit bigger for me the lever is not enough that for me idk if people don't like that lever height
Fading down was easier for me vs to creating lines, I got more in trouble creating lines and got lost in the beginning now its easy fading up, but fading down is easier
Great comparison video from a non-bias customer's perspective! I like the customer review content. I've had my Onyx clippers for a few weeks now and I absolutely love them! My 7 yr old who is very finicky about loud noises approves of these clippers. 👍 He says these are the only clippers he will allow me to use on him...🤔😂 He further states that my SC Saber trimmer and SC Rebel shaver are much louder. He often complains and rushes me when using them and my other clippers. But finally JRL came through like the sun piercing through the clouds and shedding some light upon the darkness! The JRL Onyx is officially approved by the pickiest, most finicky about loud noises (especially buzzing ones) kid on this planet !🌎 🔊😭😅😂 The only con is JRL should've called it JRL Ninja... The beginning of their Ninja line. Smooth, fast, and quiet with precision.🥷🤔💡 Anyways, thank you JRL ! I'll be waiting on your trimmer and shaver to follow. Nuf said. 👊😎
Im sure you will agree that your choice of clipper is a matter of preference as much I love jrl I find other clippers real good is there really a better clipper out there? Yea but if someone out there loves babyliss, gamma , or wahl let it be as long as they work for them then it’s all good
That battery seems likeq gimmick man, is the clipper any better? Is the motor better? Will it be that loud out the gate? Other thank a cool little light indicator button and pop out battery how does it improve your service? How often do you need to pop the battery out? Style craft sabers got 6hr battery, 50 cal mag got 8hr battery jrl got a good 5hrs. Im thinking you can get atleast 12 cuts off one battery charge on the jrl and thats not counting charges in between and. If you had the 50 cal mag thats an 8hr work day right there. Popping batteries out and losing power as they are dying is not ideal so do you just pop it out and swap to keep them charged all the time. Whats the longevity on the clipper and the batteries, I dont want to keep buying and replacing batteries. Ive had the jrl since 2020 still holds 4 hrs still quiet still mowing. The only thing that makes me curious in trying the lo pros is that they open to 4.3mm other than than seems like more gimmicks.
was set on a babyliss fxone lo pro, for diy home use,.. but this jrl Onyx keeps popping up,.. thoughts and input? Would be 99.9999% for self cut fades..
Honestly I'm more curious to see how the new lo pros work. The jrls don't seem like they got much of an upgrade to me but then again I have not used them yet either. I'd go with the lo pro
El jrl tiene algo especial q pocas o ningún clippers tiene es su mantenimiento muy mínimo al ser una máquina completamente cerrada no se le meten un solo pelo al motor
Definitely a dope video! JRL does have a great battery life to their machines, but everyone has been forgetting about one of the Caliber clippers that has a battery life of 8hrs. 🤯🤯🤯

The Graphite blade just keeps it cooler for a little longer, that's all! As for wanting the Actual best Clipper, you are better going for the JRL Onyx, which is top quality build & Machining!
