    Damn you're the only reviewer that made the microphone sound quite decent. I was on the edge of ordering it but setting it to 32kHz really improved it a lot!
    Great video, well done.

    Thanks for pointing out that the default sample rate of the mic is lower than the headset can deliver! Definitely a noticeable improvement when switching from 16kHz to 32kHz.

      you're very welcome! happy to report I still use this headset daily at work for 3-4hrs a day and have only had to charge it once in 2weeks and it wasn't even flat :)

    It's incredible how many different YT reviews, website reviews, and so on that do not mention the mic setting thing. The only ones Ive seen mention it are you, some site I forget, and a random reddit reply, lol. Anyways, good work on the review, appreciate it.

    The earcups are easy to replace. They always have been on the Cloud headsets, and this one is no different.

    If you changed the settings of the microphone on the pc will it work the same way on ps5? I’m wondering if the headset can save a preset like that, or if it’s only gonna be possible as long as it is connected to pc
    Great video btw, keep it up

  • @Juice_VI

    You can easily remove and replace the ear pads. Very easily actually. 😊

  • @RedCrayZGamer

    I think the company troll u bit with the microphone as the 16000 Hz sounds alot like the older microphone from Cloud II but they have an option for 32000 for clearer quality. lol
    But as they're sort of new they added the upgraded feature to it.

    This or the razer blackshark v2 2023 version? Nice video bro

    • @Hulk007

      I have blackshark v2 and its shit in valorant, to hear the surroundings. It might be good in other games. Go for hyperx man, I have regretted all logitech and razer headsets until now I am going for the hyperx, it is the best headset you will ever need! I had hyperx alpha before, time to get this.

    • @marianoitaliano1470

      Avoid razer blackshark v2 2023. People everywhere complain about “white noise” which is terribly annoying when you can't hear anything in the headphones, whether it's from TH-cam or a game. Some people have this noise at such a level that they can't stand it and get a headache, and still others, by some miracle, level the noise to such a level that you can still somehow use these headphones “comfortably”. I've been reading reddit as well as the razer forum for a few days now and none of the users as well as Razer itself have given a solution to this noise. Razer is only able to give new drivers that do nothing. It's a shame because Razer has a wonderful microphone in these headphones of theirs, but alas - I won't listen to some pointless, annoying and irritating noise in my headphones. Definitely time to make a decision and buy HyperX Cloud III Wireless.
      And razer hide in the ass

    Is the wired version better or worse for sound quality?

    • @sirtreedom2123

      Better mic but slightly worst sound imo. Also the no sidetone, this kills it as there’s quite a bit of passive cancellation so you can’t hear yourself in the middle of an action pack game. Wireless is worth the very wired for sure.

  • @pirahnalasagne

    My headset didn't pair. Either the headset or dongle is faulty. The amount of similar complains online in various forums is not wanted I wanted to see either. Perhaps as a reviewer it would be great for potential buyers to learn about the amount of complaints or lack of quality control prior to their purchase. In hindsight this information definitely would have swayed my decision. I won't be buying another HyperX product.

    • @SocialHardware

      I think you just might be unlucky mate, I've been usaing the headset daily still to this day and it's been working flawlessly. Just saying that with massively popular products that sell lots you're naturally going to find negative reviews as well. Not many people bother posting about the positive. But I understand you're decision either way :)

    These are the worst sounding headphones I've ever purchased. I can't believe that people are recommending them. Sure, they might sound good for music but as soon as you try to load into a game like Call of Duty, you will recognize that the sound is some of the worst of any headphones in the game right now. A definite RETURN!

    from my gaming laptop the mic audio comes through with a really annoying vibration. for example when you said, "perfectly fine" the 'er' in perfectly and the 'i' in fine sound distorted and again come through with this super whiney and ear piercing vibration.
