That's honestly the only thing i wish i would have done was went ahead and spent the extra $ and got the 424. I mean i love it and it does pretty much everything i ask of it but i do wish i had that extra 1.4 inchs of ground clearance and the added weight and stability from the larger tire. But other than that it's a awesome little tractor!
How is your HST holding up? Mine screams while in 4wd, especially trying to back up any type of a slope. Also, it now has a shudder while in 4wd from the front end. I've been easy on mine..
Hmmm, mine screams a little under a heavy load but for the most part it's not loud. I have about 550 hrs on mine and I'm anything but easy on it. Have you checked your fluids or made sure your main hydrostatic filter hasn't been crushed some how?
I'm looking to get a 424, It's nice to see it's got good lifting power. I've heard a lot of good things about these little tractors!
