Damn it i never thought i would still get emotional seeing these vans.😔 It was my 1st car. I loved having it for the 13 year's i had it. My van got totalled because of an accident when a lady hit me. Treat your aerostar star good. I would buy one again I i saw one in my area
I have three of these Ford aerostar vans. One of them has the 4.0. V6 and the other two have 3.0 V6. 138,000 miles is probably about the average between the three of them each. Honestly I don't need three of them. I would sell one of them. If your seriously interested just send me a reply
I HAVE ONE , have a 92 , have had it since about 1998 .always drive it 55 miles an hour . have hauled 4x4 10 foot post all the way between the seats to console with rear door shut . with rear seats out. have the 3,o plenty of power and great on gas.
I’m still smashing in mine. I’m in the Napa valley where I’m snubbed constantly. 😉IDGAF, she runs like a top, no car payment and the gas mileage is legit❤
You know some people give you a hard time calling this a small van well that's more true than a minivan. Because look at what the minivans were. This is based off an older English design and actually great Vans. I have three of them. I don't know how rare they are. If you want another one these rare aerostar Vans about 1995 or 6 let me know. About 138,000 miles and I've owned them for anywhere from three to fifteen years.
They are not truly body-on-frame that is one of the biggest myths about these Vans. Put it up on your rack look underneath it you'll find it built like the older Ford and Dodge vans Chevy van steering GMC it is welded to the floor pan and it's just a three-sided box rail. Is not a true frame as such you cannot unbolt that body from that frame. Now I don't believe that's how the Ford rangers are put together but I've always heard that it's a Ford ranger modified chassis. That darn good vans. I thought they get caught for alluring like the VW Vans did but never happened
Ford sold 2 million of these vans. Crazy to think they are rarely around anymore. Also, besides the powertrain, it really has nothing in common with the Ranger. These vans were unibody, and brought a plethora of engines from the Lima 2.3 to the Colonge 4.0. They also had a unique to Aerostar only E4WD system.
How many pairs of speakers you sell outta it? You'll stop doing burnouts in it when you find out how difficult 205-75/14 tires are to get. Just replaced the in tank fuel pump in my '93 today that had 350,000 miles on it. The fuel gauge sender that's part of the assembly took a shit...pump still worked. Got a NOS Motorcraft unit off FeePay...no China dogshit on this creampuff.
@@jeffharkson1920 Haven't listed it online. I have been juggling extra company vehicles and narrowing down which will be sold. Downsizing to one company vehicle and its been a toss up between the Aerostar and a Chevy truck. Hate to let it go but it's probably time. I can send details and photos tomorrow if you'd like? It's the 97 cargo van. Was green, had it painted white a couple years ago and it looks great. 108k miles I think.
I finally bought one of my own Ford Aerostar 1995 with only 56,000 miles on it ;) cargo xlt size
I had a '97 exactly like that one I bought it in 2004 for $500, I gave it to my friend in 2013. I miss that van.

@@CAROLDDISCOVER-2025 is the 4.0 or 3.0 better? Including gas mileage. I've been looking into these bad boys.
I had my Ford Aerostar for 22 years, the best automobile we ever owned . And when we bought it, it had 37,000 miles on it.
The Crime Van! KEK!

You don't see many of those Ford Aerostar minivans on the roads anymore like you use to back in the day.
Those and the Astro 4.3 were great vans. That would make an excellent bike hauler for someone.
That van is dope.
Had this van on my radar. I live near Roanoke VA, had it saved on my Marketplace account to see what result it would bring. Glad to see you sold it!
Cool piece.
