Absolutely love these videos! You setting the boat up, engine start, fishing! Really great! Really want an inflatable boat like yours now! Thanks for the vids!!! Taz.
dhalsim hinton me too. Didn't know how cool it would be to go solo and thought this setup would be too expensive until I researched. Thanks for your video.
Glad you’re inspired, get a smaller engine though the 9.9hp was way too big 3hp is plenty and the smaller engines have the fuel tank under the cowling ( on the motor )
I think it's more versatile than kayaks, you are not stuck sitting in the same position and if a fish drops off the hook there's ample floor space for it to fall onto, it doesn't fall overboard. I would use a slurry but I would only be out for an hour or two around first light and it's not that hot at that time of the day
+Fisher nick (fishernick humperdink) Thanks for the reply. I like slurry after being a tuna fisherman and we used it to cool down the fish and I've used a slurry ever since to maximise quality. I have tried kayaks and I found them to be wet and unstable. It's no fun being dumped in the surf break if you get turned by a wave. Messy and time-consuming reel cleaning afterwards. The inflatable seems more stable, spacious and versatile as you say. It looks like diving could be a possibility also. I have a 20hp Honda 4 stroke and a fishfinder/GPS combo but need a small boat. Any advice?
Hi there! Could you tell me please what is this blue thing on 2:26 for the lane? Never seen it before. Maybe you know even one e-shop were I can find it? Can I ask for link? Thanks!
yeh looked good, ive had a 2.8m with the ali floor but sold it a while back, thinking of getting another one but this time with air deck, from all ive read theyre a lot more stable than i had imagined
Hey mate, Been thinking of getting one of these Island Inflatables myself. I already have a Tohatsu 9.8hp 2 stroke (the persun is a direct copy) and was wondering how fast can you get it to go? You ever measured the speed?
I've never checked the speed, but it's almost too fast unless it's flat calm, a 6hp would be more than adequate. I would get up on the plane with two adults on board 😃
Nice set-up 👍

how long/wide is your boat?

Nice fishing, may be better quality eating with an ice slurry. Looks more fun than kayaks.

2.9m Island inflatable, Parsun 9.8hp outboard
What size/length is the boat?
2.9m 👍
Hey mate thts a great vid ! Was this at normanville/warrina area?
What is the ugly fish? How come you keep it but won't touch it with your hands? I'm curious.
Its called a flathead, has nasty spines on the back of its head when it thrashes they dig into your hands, cuts often get infected
very inspiring me

Ha ha ive got to ask what does squid ink taste like lol
Revolting stuff that’s for sure hahah
how heavy is your anchor
Where did u get that fish chart?
They sell them in local tackle shops, they are very handy
thank you
is that a squid that u fished in the begining
yeah it is
poor squid from splatoon
hey Man what is the name of your rod?
I fish in south australia, adelaide. The rod is a 3kg Seeker custom built from blank.
thx man
can you go to blue water with that?
There's no blue water around here unfortunately....just a shallow sandy gulf....but she'd be fine in calm weather
How did that taste
Revolting 😂
Thank you Fisher Nick
im surprised how u catch the squids without flicking the lure
me too! Can you explain how this works Nick?
+Alan Wang I keep the jag just off the bottom, at sunrise the squid are less finicky.....
Ever encounter sharks?
No luckily enough......I bet they've seen me though....always worried about one biting the engine ( pointers like to mouth them )
don't know what you are doing putting all there fish alive in there basket and letting them die! Incredible!!
What rod is?
It is a custom made rod built specially for me
@@fishernick2447 The car has also been manufactured by you?
