Linkbuds open is a game changer. Won’t make your ear canal heat up like the sealed ones and you can hear around you just in case. The previous version has been my daily driver since it came out. So glad the new version is finally out!
Everyone! before buying Linkbuds do some research or wait for actual people's comments because I used to be a fan of original Linkbuds as it allowed the ambient sound to reach my ears but they had a major battery flaw. Both with Linkbuds and Linkbuds S. Right after one year when warranty was over the battery of right earbud died/malfunctioned. Because of which the case loses all its charge. Reddit is full of such complaints and sony never addressed them. When you get a quote from the repair centre they basically charge you the price equivalent to the new pair. No doubt sony has one of the best microphones for calling and attending meetings but I can't trust Sony any more. Their customer support is also not good.
These are awesome. My Beats Fit Pro just broke again (the wing tip torn apart) and I was looking for something new with up to date codecs, Bluetooth version, etc. and came across these. These are super comfy and the fit is so soft that it almost seems that you have no earbuds especially once you find the correct ear tip for your size of ear canal. The ANC is much softer vs the one on Beats Fit Pro but I really like the way its implemented - you hear a lot of surrounding sounds but then again the song you listen to does not suffer so to say, love it! Love the feature of auto pause + transparency mode as soon as I start talking, which can be adjusted to various length and sensitivity. Sound wise its like day n nights vs beats fit pro especially with the available EQ settings.
Are they made with the same batteries as LinkBuds S? I hope not, because the battery drain problem of the LinkBuds S really sucks, my left earbud dies only after 30 minutes of playback, only after 1 year of use...
I liked the LinkBuds Open. Stayed in my ears well. A little more comfortable than originals. All that said, AirPods 4 are better in a lot of ways (except for the secure fit). We'll see how price shakes out during sales but the LinkBuds Open just seem a little pricey at $200. More so than the Fit, which should also come down to around $150 when on sale.
Great review. Question the New Bose QC earbuds VS Sony Link buds fit? Which is better you didn’t mention as a competitor. My old bose sport buds are on their last legs
The new Bose QC Earbuds are good but I prefer the LinkBuds Fit. Smaller buds. Also, their voice calling performance is better. Bose does have slightly better ANC.
@@andresoares6005 I had an issue with the Pixel Buds Pro 2's ear tips and fit (had to add my own ear tips -- I got a tight seal once I did). They're both very good if you get a tight seal. Pixel Buds Pro 2 may sound slightly better. They are probably slightly better choice if you have a Pixel smartphone. The LinkBuds Fit did give me a slightly more secure Fit.

So are this headphones or earbuds “open earbuds?” Because i been looking for the latest or most recent release of them from sony. I commute as well by walking to my destination and would love to be aware of my surroundings please 🙏 let me know where can i buy them?! Please 🙏
Be careful before buy Sony earbuds! Sony has a pretty common battery drain issues with pretty much all their earbuds. Ive had the Linkbuds S for about 1 1/2 years (1900 hours) now and they only last about 20 minutes even on a full charge...
improve battery life andfirmware bugs first, Sony😅By the way, the design looks like Samsung Galaxy Earbuds too much. And there are already many better choices below $200 in the market. Sony should play catch up and raise the bar!

Which one has better sound (including bass) and comfort / fit?
Which one is better sony linkbuds fit or open please reply?

Hope its battery is not the same as linkbuds s
Still using my original link buds and their open ring design i still using it everyday even though it’s battery life is suffering.
Thank you for the informative review. Thinking of purchasing these for a love one.
Thanks for watching!
Could you do a wind test for hear through and calls? Important for those running and cycling and it’s something beats fit pro do very well
How do they compare to the Bose QC ultra earbuds? I haven't found any in-ear buds that beat their immersion mode.🤔
This was an EXCELLENT review. Thank you!
Also what did you dislike about the link buds open? I like open earbuds would you choose the shoks instead?

I need a follow up to the Google pixel buds pro 2 please 😊
Can you use the wf-1000xm4 or wf-1000xm5 tips on the linkbuds fit?

Can the noise cancelling of the linkbuds fit be turned off? If yes, how does this affect battery life?
Yes. It can be turn off. And can run to full capacity 22 hour battery. If turn off whole day

The LinkBuds Fit are not open. The LinkBuds Open are open (they have the ring driver).
I do apologize i thought they were open ring. Thanks for clarifying it 👍 and nice review! 👏

I have hesitations with Sony now since I bought the wxm4 because the battery are trash.
I bought these and had the WF-1000XM5s before that and never had any battery issue at all.
Do they work with iPhone ?
Yes.
I got original linkbuds for 60 bucks. Dont buy now, they gonna lower the price
3 in 1 chargers are all around my house. No wireless charging is very disappointing.
improver the batteries they run out to quickly
buy samsung 😊
Subpar battery, no wireless charging, no aptx for $200? Yikes
Pass 🎉
And for 150?
For some of us with small ears and need the wing (and have been neglected for years) the $200 is nothing. I’m buying
Who needs aptx when you've got LDAC lol
@@glenncross956 why lol? Ldac is common on every single 30$ pair of earbuds and chews your battery 5x faster than LE or aptx
