It has to be said - when I saw you were doing a video about the control knobs, I thought “meh, what’s up with the ones you’ve already got?” Now, however, can I just say wow! What a huge improvement in an area I didn’t even realise needed improving until you did it! It’s absolutely stunning, ties the whole instrument together, and your client is a very lucky chap!

This Nebulous son of Nebula needs to be put into custom production. With of course the option of an orangish rust oxide sage green umber model as well. Perhaps named Corrosion or Patina and may it spring into existence, with all sonic satisfaction and sustenance. Honestly Ben, well done. the prototype is now forever etched into the digital psyche of creative mankind.

Reducing the height was what really did it for this one. The wood accents are great, of course, but modifying the scale was what brought it home. Can't believe we finally crossed the finish line. Bravo! Thanks for sharing!

Great work Ben and loved the inlay on the top. I would have liked to see you fashion a classic 1950's flying saucer for the top knob as there are some great shapes to play with and the outer edge could still be knurled.

When I was at Crimson, we talked about you doing an L5. It strikes me that you have created a modern successor in the Nebula. The acoustic tone for such a small body is amazing; almost lute or oud like, and I would love to hear it amplified in the hands of someone like Martin Taylor or Joe Pass (though you would need to dig him up first). I'm in awe. Well done Ben.

Holy hell, Ben. All that work for one knob. You mad man. How much is a guitar of this nature going to cost? In the realm of 6,000 or 7,000, I'm guessing. The time poured into the knob alone warrants at least a 200 dollar charge. It's a damned marvel. Please tell me you'll offer this in more budget friendly woods because I'd love one. At least since this series of videos is done, you'll be able to use them as a reference to expedite this sort of guitar build process in the future. This can be one of your core line models, easily.
