Unbelievable!!! You blow me away with your brush-making-tutorial!! Thanks Blake for let us know this new technics and the set of brushes on top af that!!!
Mysteries of the BRUSH SETTINGS Window revealed! Blake, your enquiring mind has pulled back another layer of arcane PS knowledge and we are again indebted to you. Thank you for those great brushes - BIG IMPROVEMENT!
Great job Professor “C”. Your wonderful sense of humor is what sets you miles a part from most PS instructors. I learn more about Photoshop techniques from you and Scot Kelby than all others combined. Your Zone System workflow panels are freaking awesome.
This is awesome, something I can use on every edit. I have created an action to add a layer, select the fuzzy brush, select linear light blend, and reduce the fill. THANK YIOUY SIO MUCH!
Often you only need subtle changes to go from average to amazing. I got your brushes, thank you, and tried this method out right away. And I must say, it is pure magic. I love it. Thank You Blake.
Awesome video Blake. I have always wondered how to make my own brushes but could never work out why they wouldn't work properly, now I know why. Thanks loads...
Blake, I've only recently started to really hook into your youtube and can't believe how much I have learned already. You are an awesome and very generous teacher. Your methods are transforming my approach to Photoshop, both simplifying and freeing up my workflow. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
That's awesome! Thanks for the feedback 😁 glad you are finishing it all useful. You may want to consider joining f64elite.com if you like this stuff, you can learn 1000 times more on my premium site 😁
These are SO AWESOME!!! Thanks so much Blake! Completely changed my newest composite! I was about to give up on it, but it's blending together so much better now!
well as the saying goes, you learn something different everyday and to be honest i dont often alter any brush settings but i do see the big advantage of using your (or my own bush now when i make one ). i will have a play later on. cheers blake
Thank you for the brush pack! Yesterday I received my first tablet. It's the XP-Pen G640 which you recommended in another video and I'm super happy with it. 👍
perfect, i have spent the last 2 weeks searching for new brushes like this 'everywhere' so this will fill the need for just in time since i ran out of options , thanks Blake see u over at f64
I too have torn my hair out using the regular "soft" brush - and what I needed was a more nuanced edge. Thank you for this, and especially for the brush pack as well. You're a champion among men. Blake.👏🏻👍🏻
Wow amazing , i love it , now we need to know the diff between those brushes , what i can use alternative for soft brush , is it the super soft one ? , and what is about fuzzy
@f64 Academy *i will test this brush on my painting. 😂 Lets see how it goes.* *is this the way to create and save a brush pack? Coz am thinking to create brush just by an inage i took? Will that be possible?*
Howdy - I really have enjoyed all your videos. Thanks for creating these videos - as a creator I know all the work that goes into making these... so thanks.
Blake - loved the tutorial, but I could not get a stroke to show up in the Preview after adding any texture. Then I noticed that the Invert texture pattern must be checked to get the brush to work. Just thought I would mention this. Thanks again for the tutorial and the wonderful brushes.
Love it, sir i have been trying to make a skin texture brush with direction control with size from bigger to smaller as per dept, Plz help me with some idea
Hi Blake. Your cursor has two concentric circles for the brush tip. How do you get two circles and do they represent the degree of feather. In Photoshop it seems there is only one circle possible. Thanks in advance David. Great videos by the way.
Hi Blake. I just downloaded your brilliant blender brushes. I love trying out new brushes that may make things like D&B look more natural. I see using the soft blender a lot. But can you give some guidance regarding the best uses for the other 9 brushes? I imagine you had specific uses in mind when you created them. Thank you so much for sharing this and so much more.
So what do you think? Did I make a better blending Brush? See them in Action here: th-cam.com/video/kqHSjwY9uVQ/w-d-xo.html Download the brush pack here: f64.co/brushes
Awesome brushes and very informative tutorial! As always I learnt a lot from your video tutorial! I can't wait to install those great brushes and again I would like to ask you, using those brushes, actions and color gradients you offer are free to be used in commercial works as well? Good luck with your projects!
Customary Blake "mind-blown" response. Blake, I get the benefit of the custom brush, but can you tell me why I need more than one? When would I use one custom brush over another?
Clone Stamping I think is best with a scratchier brush than soft in some cases like grass, etc. Dodging and Burning I want to move slow with deliberate buildup so something light to start.
Can you believe it? I first time learned about Black, along the Ps Summit l in April 2020. What I would like to stress out here, is that I really regret I did not followed you Black, starting long time ago! Shame on me!😒 Again, big congrats for all of your work and thank you much for sharing your ideas!
I come up with all this on my own. Stick around ;) I don't watch anybody else's videos because I don't want their techniques to influence mine. This is all trial and error and me having fun in Ps.
Am trying to understand and learn the concept of brushes better. Seems there is thousands of those out there. Like an industry of brush makers. But here is the thing .. many of them (like this one) are essentially a "random" thing (stain?) ... more to it, all those settings, makes that random "thing" behave even more random. Great. The net result is a random brush that have soft touch. Great. So, what and why do we need too many of those brushes? They are all random so what makes one better than the other ?.... I will watch the other video and see ... but am really looking to learn how they are being used. I am very curious how you choose one random brush over the other random brush in your creation. I am just confused as it looks like brushes are a big deal yet .. they seems much of the same....
Various brushes for various reasons. Do you have 15 of the same Philips Head Screwdrivers? Or do you have 15 screwdrivers with various size heads for various size screws? Some of these brushes are softer so they blend slower. Some are narrow so they make better textures, like fog. Some are better for cloning while others for masking. Some are better for painting color with blend modes. Various sizes and shapes. It's all about experimenting and knowing what each is going to do and what application each is good for. I don't need thousands just 10 or so. I also don't need to make money on them, so these ones are on me 😉
Well that is the thing... You kind of touched it in the question itself... It is 15 Philips screwdrivers... They all do the same. Size difference, is one attribute change across one type of screwdriver. I can see having multiple brush presets being the analogy to the 15 fifteenth sizes. But it seems they're are tons and tons different screwdrivers.... Maybe topic for future video. Btw, I found your channel only recently and wow.... This is now my favorite. I love explanation not demo's of click here then click there... Your are amazing videos done with good tone, clarity and humor (here and there). Thank you for all those
