In this tutorial, I show you how to create atmosphere and drama using Photoshop brushes. Add light streaks, haze and depth quick and easy.
This technique can help you turn a flat boring image into something with a lot of character and drama. Photoshop brushes are a fun way to easily edit any image.

Thanks Joel...I purchased your brushes in late Spring. You have created a masterful tutorial on your bush use technique, I especially like your explanation of Luminar Neo's edit panel and the finishing touches it adds, Thank you!!

Awesomely helpful - I bought the brush pack some time ago but struggled to apply them without these instructions. Also helpful is to see the brush preview in the brush panel and not just numbers with a nondescript brush stroke. You might mention that next time as I find it very helpful with so many options to chose from. Thanks Joel!

Thanks Joel - always great to get these practical tips from you. I believe that’s the entrance to the Divinity School at the Bodlean library in Oxford, UK.

Wonderful tutorial. Just purchased the set. I've been reluctant to get brushes for several years but this tutorial has totally changed my understanding as to how to use them. Thank you

Fab ! I just purchased your brushes bundle in the last few days and emailed your support email asking if there was a tutorial on how to use them - they emailed back to say no but they would mention it - not sure if my email had any impact on your decision to make the video, but THANK YOU

Love your tutorials Joel. BUT: this time you introduced 3 suns which is physically impossible :-) the sun has only one elevation at a time and by slanting the three layers in different angles it looks like the scene is illuminated by 3 suns. In your result it looks like the sun beams in the foreground are curved because the second layer blends with the first layers beams.

Hey Joel, Bought everything you have, and I use most of it. I also got your Still Life Course, It changed my photography forever! Would love to see an updated SLife course maybe a little more advanced. So Now for my critique, LOL! Is it me or do the different angles of the light rays seem not normal, considering the windows and the light would be shining through at the same angle?
