Hi Will, yes the bigger one did fly very slowly but I'm guessing this one's got a higher wing loading but time will tell, I learn stuff too when I watch my videos 😁👍

I am quite intrigued with your planes! Two questions: Is the Mini Yoyo the slowest flyer, or is the sportster the slowest flyer?
How do I know what electronics to buy? From what I can see on line, your plans make no suggestions for motors, batteries, servos, etc....?
Hi Robert, re your first question, as both models share the same wing there's nothing in it really. I intentionally leave the equipment choice up to the builder. There's so many umx-type aeroplanes on the market which get badly damaged you can harvest the rc equipment and fit it straight in. Alternatively look at equipment suppliers like Microaces in the UK for an idea of what you need but you do need to keep it light. Hope this helps a bit, cheers.
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Thanks Cliff. Being new to these super light planes (I flie mostly large gassers), I am a bit ignorant as to the size/weight of the motor and the weight of the battery... so as to get the CG correct.
Any hints?
Take a look at this for the sort of equipment Robert, microaces.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-microaces-aio-aero-flight-pack-frsky-d8-compat-long-prop-shaft any 1s battery up to around 260mAh, the battery weighs 6g, that's 0.2oz. A 2s setup increases the wing loading and therefore speed, the cg on these models is around the 25 to 30%, cheers

How did you get that in to half an hour? If you fancy a road trip to Walsall you can in door test Saturday. Nice build, I would be very happy with that.

Hi, the covering is very light-weight disposable aprons like you would find in a hospital or clinic, usually white but my local hospital had colors for different departments, cheers
