- I, Leonardo Licciardo "Leonardo DeValen" was depressed for a long time and in this video I tell you how it felt to be depressed and how I got to were I was.
During our roadtrip vlog with my wife, Jenna Licciardo-Toivola "Jenna DeValen" I was quite reflective on my own life and how I was suffering with depression. I thought
about what was causing my pain and eventual total burn out to quit all social media
and eventually quit youtube. During the roadtrip I understood what freedom and joy is, and now I
strive for that as my new Goal.

So good to see you are ok! Depression is so hard to find your way through, I'm so pleased you've found some equilibrium again. I have had my struggle's too, and same as you, living in the moment has been life changing for me, I'm alot calmer and alot more content, happy moment's followed. Setting myself smaller goals to work towards so that I always have a sense of purpose has also been awesome, but without expecting too much from the end of that goal (flexible so when life throws crap at me I can change the goal without being lost and knocked off my balance by it).
This season of life for me is to let this year go and look ahead to next.
People I love have struggled with depression. Its a tough road to travel. Good to see you looking happier than you've looked in a long time.
I enjoy all of your videos, old and new. You two are fun to watch and really enjoy each other. I love your laughter in the midst of the mosquito attack! God is good and will continue to bless you for honoring him. Please keep sharing your videos when you do take time out to make them.

I too am teaching myself to live in the moment, be thankful for this day and to stop rushing time to hurry up and get me to my end goal.......I dont even know what that is, but I am slowing down and living each day. You got this and God's got you!!

wow I really needed this. I was watching your family’s channel and was wondering where you and your wife went so now here I am! I’m in the same boat as you and honestly my goal this new year is to stop comparing my life to others which means to get off of social media for a while too. I have Major Depression, so I get it. You're so young, you have a whole lifetime ahead of you in which God will steadily bless you. And, your family, including your wife is a major blessing.
