That foil surfing looked like fun!!!! Rowland lake is a GOOD trout lake in April! Crappie in good numbers are available in May. Bass are in the lake too.
I just finished my Fishing pole cabinet. It holds up to 8 polls. Now I have started the kitchen on my van conversion. I am about 2 or 3 weeks from completion!!!!! In the last two weeks of October I normally land about 800 crappie a day (Yes 800 is the average I land per day then). About one out of 10 is over 9 inches long (that is the legal limit size and 10 total can be kept each day) Silver Lake, Washington exit 49 off I-5. Loved the Video! Roger

Fun to see this! I'm in my early 60's and learning wing foiling too. It is a very nomad-friendly sport - all the gear fits easily in my truck shell. Hope that you guys continue with this. Enjoy!

Funny - was just on the phone with my brother - one of his college friends lives in White Salmon. And now we know why our windsurfing buddy from our cruiser years lives in Hood River! 😂 Happy Belated and you did great Brad!

That looks like fun and I would have tried it in my younger years. Great video. Love the area. We were in the Dallas for a few weeks a while back and could not believe how windy it was. I get the train noise. It did appear that trains and highways were close to many of the campgrounds.

Definitely hard to avoid the train noise there! In this spot, we were in the closest sites to the tracks, so maybe those further away fared better. Still though -- what a fun area with so much to offer!

Hey just so everyone knows, he did a fantastic job on the wing. That move where he went from his knees to standing using the power of the wing is a big deal! Did I get to teach you or was that Shawn?

Brad, you have either done the foil previously or you're a fast learner.

I have done the air chair before, so that gave me a bit of a head start I think 😊
