I can say that pantlaza and miirym are for sure at least b if not a tier at base. i play them, and i gotta say they get slept on HEAVILY, and if you overlook me, one turn to late than its over and ive won
pantlaza in c is wild, dinos is an already powerful tribal filled with cheating out dinos for free. pantlaza allows you to double your value and even search out specific cards depending on how the deck is build, its fairly common to scum out a creature with 10 toughness and immediately discover into gishath or some other large dino, this plus everything having trample makes pantlaza pretty powerful. the only limitation is once per turn and that hes a 5 drop, but i would definitely not put him below kalia or even kiriko.
The 'attacks an opponent' language on kaalia is because the later language about the angel/dragon/demon that comes into the field. Specifically it's to remove any ambiguity about which opponent is being attacked by that new creature.
I think you are largely underestimating Satya and Omo... Satya is basically a Miirym that works for every creature type (including dragons) and costs less (and that can make mutiple copies of the same creature over different turns, making some creatures snowball pretty easily). You can also abuse "leaves the battlefield" or "gets killed" triggers by just not paying the cost at the end, and you almost always have enough energy to keep copies if you play it right. Also, Omo shenigans give you massive mana advantage and other type combos make it very strong.
I'd put Kaalia B. She's easy to interact with and spot remove. Also odds are with your opening hand, you don't have a way to refill your hand. She's very good in a glass cannon but falls short in a 4 person pod
Ran my Azlask today a few times. Got set up super fast each time. 5+ experience counters. Soon as I used his ability it basically ruined the person I attacked after just once.
Ulalek should be a tad bit higher because you can use eldrazi instants after you use his ability for the previous spell and us his ability again and it will copy the previous spell a second time.
Edgar used to be S tier not too long ago and this comment reaks of I'm mad my best deck didn't make it and although it's good I recommend you play against a tuned nadu deck to get with the time and realize how mid he is today
I usually switch out my Korvold for Ziatora or Prossh depending on my pod strength. Hes just…ugh so good lmao. I cant believe all the treasure support that’s been coming out one after another.
This.. so much this. I play Satya personally so maybe I'm biased, but I feel like he's crazy strong. I think people get too caught up in the energy theme to realize some of the crazy stuff you can do. Satya+solemn Sim is ez ramp and draw. Lightning runner existing at all is criminal. The ability to randomly go infinite off of the weirdest combination of cards comes out of nowhere. I had a game the other day where I made a billion thopters with whirler virtuoso, aetherroc+a copy, and the energy doubling artifact. Razorfield Ripper turns Satya himself into a direct threat. Stuff like that I've also got some secret spice that I'm cooking up that so far has been absolutely disastrous for the table if they don't have removal available
Kaalia's text reads "tapped and attacking that opponent" because if the match is multiplayer you could choose to have the cheated creature attack another opponent if it did not
Kaalia attacks that opponent and not any other opponent including players. Tapped and attacking could swing at another person. Kaalia can swing at an opponent's planeswalker I believe because you select the planeswalker after the opponent
Would you prefer Pantlaza or Gishath for Dinosaur Tribal? I like to think that while Pantlaza is a more safe option, Gishath has a higher ceiling if it manages to hit.
I'd say Gishath is more straight forward, Pantlaza has a higher ceiling. Gishath will run more ramp and combat tricks, Pantlaza wants to emphatize more on etbs (blink, flash, burn). I ran dinos with Gishath at the helm and now Pantlaza pilots the deck. They are both very fun, my only issue with having 8 mana in the command zone is that it can be frustrating to get started.
Pantlaza give u way more value, the deck runs on its own gisath you hit people. Pantalza when u remove her she comes back and ahs à trigger, gisath again needs to connect, gisath is much more commander centric
@@remyremz6639 fair enough, at least both goes very well on each other's deck. I might give Pantlaza a try as the commander of my Dino tribal Deck. The quantity of High quality dinos is astonishing with the support they got un the latest sets! 🦖
As a pantlaza player, with a deck full of huge and impactful dinos, as well as a very heavy ramp package that allows for multiple heavy spells a turn, Id pick pantlaza over gishath any day because it racks me up much more value in the long run on top of making my choices more versatile with being allowed to put a spell I don't wish to cast in that moment to my hand. You're more likely to wiff off of gishath then you ever will with pantlaza.
I dont know man. Satya is vastly under-rated in my personal experience. It does so many things, and it can always does the thing it needs. That commander summons the Heart of The Cards Yu-Gi-Oh style on me like every single time. I play my $400 Anje Falkenrath against it, with Worldgorger in the graveyard, 3 win cons in hand, and just searching for that last Animator piece, guess what Satya does? ON TURN 4, goes infinite. THE PRECON GOES INFINITE. Man, I wish I remembered the combo my fiance used on me. I play my 600 buck Krenko against it? Guess what it does? That Roc card taps Krenko before i can activate it. That deck sucks, and im traumatized. Its the best out of the bundle. Izzet is it. Its a monster. And it keeps things it copies so easily. It literally does everything. It has dat energy definitely. My Eldrazi's may stand a chance, eventually after upgrading, but ive only won once with it stock. Omo is a beast too. But i feel like its more "HIT ME WITH THAT SPELL, DADDY", than the Satya deck. Cause Satya is so synergistic it's hard to find the actual thing to destroy thats gonna be the most beneficial. It does (actually) everything better than Omo can give "everything" counters to stuff. I think shes cheating...
Pantlaza in C even in a powerful card specific ranking feels wrong. I’ve got an intentionally slowed down version of a 🦖 deck that’s still devastating with Pantlaza at the front.
The channel has sadly become somewhat of an outrage/drama sub. That's why he does such things, to stir up controversy and discussions under his videos to let them trend more and show up in more people's frontpage.
Zhulodok is very powerful when it can snowball. But it need to work on the next turn if you have 7 mana spell ready in your hand. Unlike others commander that accererate the turn they enter.
surprised azlask is below ulalek. ulalek introduces insane infinite combos with eldrazis with flash, and any instant that bounces. ulalek is also much easier to utilize in my opinion but its cool to see azlask receiving praise
You put Mothman on C tier and Korvold in S tier when they do the same exact thing besides allowing you to draw cards. Instead of drawing cards you can just make your opponents mill and make MULTIPLE creatures stronger. Not to mention the mana you need to bring Korvold out. Not to mention the more rad counters you have, you can potentially heal yourself while your opponents lose health with each creature mill. This is definitely bias or you haven't played Mothman.
@@JohnDoe-wg5pe What does that have to do with what I said? I didn't say Korvold was bad but to put Mothman at C while Korvold at S??? I've had plus 20 on more than two creatures and add him with Thrummingbird it's double the counters.

With my $900.00 cdeh chirsiro shattered blade. I usually can win by turn 4 to 12 minimum.
I have some (hopefully) constructive criticism. I notice when you read the commander's text, you rush through it as fast as you can talk, as if you're thinking "I know this is boring and you don't wanna hear me read this, audience; lemme just read it fast so the new guys can get it." Well, I'm a new guy. I don't know what most of these commander's text is. I wanna hear it, that's part of the informational value of the video - in order to understand these commanders, I have to understand what they do, and reading cards is part of the game. Here's my main problem - when you read fast, you almost completely stop enunciating. You mumble heavily, and I can't understand what you're saying. So the experienced guys still have to wait while you read the commander's text for anyone who doesn't know it, but people like me can't really make out what you're saying (I assume I'm not alone). So, it doesn't really help either group. And I gotta pause and look at the screen to read the card. Can you still enunciate the words clearly while you read fast? Or, alternately, can you slow it down enough that you're able to maintain enunciation so we can make out what you're saying? Thank you!
I really hate playing brawl on arena now. Powerlevel has gotten so high and cheap cards (3 mana) are so incredibly powerful that none of my old decks can play anymore. Im out.

Edgar Markov oughta be an A. It's so damn fast.
He sure is
Agreed!
Awesome video!
Agree with most of this
I’d make these changes:
Edgar- S
Miirym, Kaalia, Atraxa- A
Azlask - B
I'd put Kaalia B. She's easy to interact with and spot remove. Also odds are with your opening hand, you don't have a way to refill your hand. She's very good in a glass cannon but falls short in a 4 person pod
Ran my Azlask today a few times. Got set up super fast each time. 5+ experience counters. Soon as I used his ability it basically ruined the person I attacked after just once.
that's annihilator. It's like torturing a person. You take them down, piece by piece until they are left with nothing, but they are still alive.
Ulalek should be a tad bit higher because you can use eldrazi instants after you use his ability for the previous spell and us his ability again and it will copy the previous spell a second time.
Hard to take this seriously when he says Edgar Markov and Ulalek are B-tier commanders.
Edgar used to be S tier not too long ago and this comment reaks of I'm mad my best deck didn't make it and although it's good I recommend you play against a tuned nadu deck to get with the time and realize how mid he is today
they are. I could beat them in 2 turns with a full powered rogsi deck.
Depending on how you build your deck with korvold he is just so strong you can build him voltron but drain and treasure is just the better option
I've just found is so expensive to make Korvold works great.
I usually switch out my Korvold for Ziatora or Prossh depending on my pod strength. Hes just…ugh so good lmao. I cant believe all the treasure support that’s been coming out one after another.
I have played against a Satya and it plays better than it reads with a well built deck. Not being able to interact with enregy sucks.
This.. so much this.
Stuff like that
I've also got some secret spice that I'm cooking up that so far has been absolutely disastrous for the table if they don't have removal available
Gishath is personally my tribal commander. All about getting them dinosaurs out to attack.
You're more likely to wiff off of gishath then you ever will with pantlaza.
tapped and attacking THAT opponent. if you're in a 4 person pod, it makes a difference!
Pantlaza not being S tier is wild it can run out the entire deck just like korvold can
Kaahlia at C tier is a joke Mitch 😂 outside of that I largely agree with this
Nadu good job wotc nice job with the play testing as well how is Nadu not a mythic
What would being Mythic have changed? Just the number of Nadu's out there.
Buy as many copies as possible!
Hakbal won against Edgar Markov, Lathril and alela in a tribal game i recently put together. Pantlaza still feels like my most powerful deck though.
Atraxa not in s tier????
Pantlaza in C even in a powerful card specific ranking feels wrong. I’ve got an intentionally slowed down version of a 🦖 deck that’s still devastating with Pantlaza at the front.
He went off the text of the cards, not how they actually played. Pantlaza should be is an S/A -tier commander.
The channel has sadly become somewhat of an outrage/drama sub. That's why he does such things, to stir up controversy and discussions under his videos to let them trend more and show up in more people's frontpage.
Where would Talion stand? Any thoughts?
I would've tiered them up the same. Although half the commanders in B tier I feel CAN fall in a spot between A&S because well... because mid range. 😂
What do you think about volrath? Is it good?
Kaalia is usually a combo deck with a good stuff fallback plan, not a tribal list
Good, good. Keep underestimating Zhulodok. All going according to keikaku.
Zhulodok is very powerful when it can snowball. But it need to work on the next turn if you have 7 mana spell ready in your hand. Unlike others commander that accererate the turn they enter.
“THAT opponent” prevents you from splitting attacks to other opponents
Cant agree with omo, the big point is not that a creature becomes every creature type but that lands become every land type!
Satya and phasing out the tokens can/ could be broken if done right (phasing out doesn't kill tokens)
Satya slaps actually. I threw 15 good stuff cards in the deck and its 6-0 with my group
surprised azlask is below ulalek. ulalek introduces insane infinite combos with eldrazis with flash, and any instant that bounces. ulalek is also much easier to utilize in my opinion but its cool to see azlask receiving praise
Personally I think Ur-Dragon is S and Miirym is A due to all the cost reductions you can get for these dragons.
Atraxa is one of the top cEDH commanders... How is it B tier?
Because it is not the same Atraxa, the video mention praetor's voice, the top cEDH is Atraxa, Grand unifier
@@Krozice oh dang I didn't realize that. You're totally right homie 🤙 my bad
I agree with everything except ur I think its better than atraxa by far id put atraxa on C
Galadriel, light of valinor is pretty nuts too.
Massively agree, people sleep on it because they think it’s just elf ball
You put Mothman on C tier and Korvold in S tier when they do the same exact thing besides allowing you to draw cards. Instead of drawing cards you can just make your opponents mill and make MULTIPLE creatures stronger. Not to mention the mana you need to bring Korvold out. Not to mention the more rad counters you have, you can potentially heal yourself while your opponents lose health with each creature mill. This is definitely bias or you haven't played Mothman.
When you go against a treasure abusing korvold deck... i got hit with a 47/47 korvold turn 6
@@JohnDoe-wg5pe What does that have to do with what I said? I didn't say Korvold was bad but to put Mothman at C while Korvold at S??? Literally, Korvold can only put the counters on himself while Mothman can put it on anyone he wants. I've had plus 20 on more than two creatures and add him with Thrummingbird it's double the counters.
Miirym is def A tier. It doesn't take long to get mana rocks out. Especially with Sol Ring. You could pop her out like turn 4 easy. Start copying and populating. It's nuts
Is Urza mono blue still relevant?
Looking at this list tells me that you really need to get out and play some more.
For kaalia it's that opponent not just an opponent so you can't cheat in a card and attack someone else
Thanks appreciate all the videos you do.
Me over here with my Locust God and fresh built Ramos 😅
In my opinion Arna Kennerud skycaptain, should be there
You know I’ve been testing getting out Talion out before Nadu and I always choose 1 lol it makes everything awkward I guess. Idk 😅maybe I’m just not that good to understand why they tend to slow down after I choose 1
Disagree on Atraxa, but I admit it isn’t S tier either. Probably A tier. Again, it just depends on how you build it.
A player thinking Yuriko is only A Tier is a player that never played against Yuriko. Yes Stellar Lee is faster, but way easier to control than Yuriko.
Edit: Ok, watched the tierlist to the end, holy shit this is a mess. 🤣
You are not wrong at all
What about Najeela the Blade Blossom she has a lot of combo potential and can really be fun!
Nadu out here comboing with a ham sandwich
Stella lee i let my cousin play my commander deck quick draw modified he played my deck twice. he goes on vacation down to Florida spend time with his mother and his brother he buys the quick draw deck from Walmart.
thing he doesn't realize that it's his first ever super tier competitive deck he has ever owned now all he wants to do is play it now. I feel like I'm going to have to make Nadu I really don't want to. I am very competitive I'm usually arch enemy and four of them will attack me because I know I can kill them in one turn. With my $900.00 cdeh chirsiro shattered blade. I usually can win by turn 4 to 12 minimum.
No Dihada Binder of wills?
Thank you!
Totally agree. I find myself pausing a ton when watching their videos, everything seems very rushed.
I really hate playing brawl on arena now. Powerlevel has gotten so high and cheap cards (3 mana) are so incredibly powerful that none of my old decks can play anymore. Im out.
In no world EVER is Stella Lee above Nadu, who was the top 4 in a tournament. Not like, in the top 4, btw, THE TOP 4.
How is ur dragon a c tier
Necrobloom A Tier
thanks for stellar content
I don't think I've ever disagreed with a tier-list more in my life lol.
I was hoping to see Herigast here
crazy that Wizards admitted to not playtesting their product with Nadu. wtf is that all about
Edgar at B tier bro?come on man.
How is urza not on the list
Edgar and ur dragon are way too low.
There is no way pantlaza is c tier. I have smoke checked so many decks with dinos. They either immediately have answers or they die. There is no in between.
Yeah that deck slaps, simple but works very well
Pantalaza and Ur-Dragon
definitely deserve an A. Personally.
Anyone agree? 🤔
Edgar markov and kaalia being in B tier is total cap lol. They’re still S tier commanders and a kaalia deck just won a huge tourney a few months ago.
Edgar markovs eminence ability is still way more busted then the commanders you placed in A tier. Also the necrobloom only in B?? It’s A tier at minimum compared to the rest on this list.
Kaalia has never won a cedh tournament with more then 60 players in it. wtf r u on.
@@lazarlazarteam1033 kaalia was 100 percent a tier when she came out and did win multiple big tournaments. Even know she’s still busted and won a major tourney in 2023. If you don’t want to call her a s tier anymore I’d be willing to give her A tier. But B tier? Hell no that’s 100 percent bullshit period, end of discussion.
@@lazarlazarteam1033 also the number of players doesn’t mean shit. She’s won multiple big cedh tournaments that’s a fact so educate yourself
miirym at B is crazy. A tier minimum
Pantlaza should be way higher.
As I weep into my $800 Omo deck.
No Sidar? 😢
I've destroyed all those commanders and KEPT on par with the amount of vampires that edgar makes with Caesar. I've swung 30 soldiers that are 6/6 at someone dealing 30 dmg while making 2 tapped and attacking soldiers with an additional combat phase so many times on spelltable, at a family function and with my mtg group. He needs to be up there, I just kill mothman and board wipe then start the shenanigans all over again😩
the gap between casual and cedh are way to close.
