I’d say that was a fantastic day. I didn’t realize Pygmy owls were that small. I’ve never seen one. Cool little critters. You seem to have no trouble with heat shimmer. I have trouble with it even in winter. 😩 Hope you get some more moisture. We’ve been blessed recently with lots of snow. Thanks for sharin Mike.
Owl was cute. Tell him we have some voles if he wants to drop by, otherwise I give them to the magpies. Yep, we do need more moisture. Maybe a few days of rain.
