  • Paris and Nice / the French Riviera are the two top destinations in France. So why limit yourself to just one of them? Paris is a mere 5- to 6-hour train ride or a short flight from Cannes and Nice - and vice versa. In this video, we show you all your travel options!

    Many thanks for such an informative video. I come to Nice every summer, never have mixed it with Paris, but I plan to combine Nice and Paris next June, your video has helped a lot.

    Hello again, beautiful Anja and Aila! Great and useful video indeed. Yes, trains are very efficient way of travel around France and in Europe in general. I've been using a train there( not the same route) and it was a very pleasant experience. Comfortable. " its not like you are sitting on a wooden bench" Lol 😁. It's great how a person can jump on a train and can easily and affordably can reach from one side of the country to the other. Can I just say how amazing that resto at Gare de Lyon looks. I ve watch about it many times and every time I am impressed. It's fantastic. Those ornaments all over and the ceilings 😳 How truly beautiful and detailed it is. Hard not to be impressed. Since you said you were busy these days,your video was a very pleasant surprise and I sincerely enjoyed it. You look great and cheerful as usual and that's always a good vibe. ( Not related to the video subject,but I really like how natural you carry yourself. Not overly done like most women around the Riviera tend to look like.) It would be lovely to meet you there one day. Have a great and happy time! 🌞😊

    I just returned from my month long trip to France, and I got to say, South of France is the true representation of a true France holiday, not Paris😅. I was a tad disappointed and underwhelmed when I was in Paris. You ladies chose the right location to settle down in France. Anyways, please be very cautious of pick pockets when taking the subway in Paris ladies. Cheers!😅👍

      Hi, thanks for your feedback - so interesting to hear! It’s probably all a matter of expectations, weather, people you encounter, things that happen by chance… We have followers that are disappointed after a visit to the French Riviera (not many though 😅), while we really love to explore Paris again and again and appreciate it as a big city where so much is going on, compared to much much smaller Nice which is our big city down here…
      We still hope you had a good time and brought back great memories! 😊

      @rivierago Yes indeed, lots of great and fond memories. The Sun was following us wherever we went, and we were lucky to meet so many good people everywhere we went, genuinely good locals who helped us when we got lost. Haha...😅🙏

      Wonderful! That’s what we hoped to convey 🤩 - two very different places, but both absolutely worth discovering. See you!

    Can you travel with a dog on the train? Thanks for this informative video!

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, thanks for asking - great question, we had to look it up since we left our dogs at home when going to Paris… so dogs are allowed, smaller ones in a bag or cage, bigger ones on the leash with a muzzle, at your feet. They have to have a dog ticket for 7€, no matter which train. See more on www.sncf-voyageurs.com (also in English)

      Since I am on the TGV between Paris and Nice right now, I can confirm you can even bring a 100-pounder with you and you don't even need a box (one is sitting behind me and passes by regularly)

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@riesendackel2 yeah, boxes are for the tiny ones 😅 Safe travels!

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Is the bed bug issue over?

    • @rivierago
      @rivierago  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It has never been a REAL issue here, more of a media hype. Haven’t heard any recent complaints…
