In this video i am going through Rocket Labs financials to see if we will need a capital raise in the future or we can make it on our own now with the finances that we have.
Share dilution can be good or bad. It just depends on what they do with the capital raise. If it grows the value of the company beyond the raise…it’s a good thing.

Yup, significantly quieter here than most videos. Not a big deal as you can just be turned up, but it's these little production value issues that can keep the channel from growing.

@@jiggajedit’s absolutely not his headphones, multiple people on here have complained including myself. I listen to rocket lab weekly in my 2024 Audi S4 on my drives to LA and anytime Matt talks or an ad comes on, it’s the most abrasive and aggravating burst of noise. Vince needs to either increase the sensitivity on his microphone or purchase a microphone that’s not a gaming headset. This has been frustrating the audience for months now, get off your bs high horse about “cheap airplane headphones”

Since dilution is part of the topic of this video I was curious how much capital SpaceX has raised over the years. Google offers an AI overview of the topic which states "SpaceX has raised capital over 40 rounds, raising a total of $7.2 billion in equity funding and investments. This does not include billions of dollars in government contracts." That is a lot but Google AI overview also says "As of June 27, 2024, SpaceX was valued at $210 billion".

Yeah I should go over the numbers as well, no time lately though :( I guess the only thing when you are thinking about those pre-payments is wallstreet doesnt really care much until it is actually realized.

Only upcoming loss for RocketLab is their mars vessels flying on new Glenn👎(unproven rocket that has yet to fly once, AKA it will at best be delayed by a long shot, or worst case the payload blows up)
But what about the spacecraft and order services part of this contract with Lunar? Rocket Lab?

I like most of your content but this is just confusing. I'm more confused about the capital raise than before I watched this. Seriously, don't make content on things you don't really understand, consult an expert or don't make the content. You're not a finance expert and neither am I. It's ok.
