Waiting on those heavy dumbbells
Can the ares and athena trolley be used under the seat or does the cable get in the way. Really wish u showed an example
This seat/pad is slick 🔥
You guys are far an away the best company in the industry. Unparalleled customer service and this type of innovation really sets you apart. My only complaint...having to wait so long for my Aries 2.0 lol
Awsome product! Please come to Europe!
Very cool, any thought to make this type of seat to have both legs at the same time able to perform a leg extensions and leg curl, mimic a commercial dedicated product?
Need this to work with the lat pulldown on the Ares 2.0
Coooool! Now let’s see something compatible with the rear base stabilizer to use with the lat pulldown/lowrow. Or maybe just a frame adapter to work between the rbs and Pegasus. Preferably in the two 2nd or 3rd holes from center. I have a riser for the lowrow in my center hole and obviously the lat/lowrow is attached to the 1st holes... REP can do it!
That’s dang nice
Hope Ya'll are working on a sweet pec fly / rear delt machine as well!
does this seat fit the rogue monster lite racks with 5/8 holes?
The leg rollers that are removable can be mounted directly to the PR5000 rack holes? Is this done by screwing together the rollers in the rack holes? This would be a game changer for us Athena owners. Right now I have Prime lat pulldown seat + Prime low row foot plate. I'd love an all-in-one piece like this Pegasus.
Hi Rep, I have a dialed motioon IBEX system mounted on a PR5000. Would the cable get in the way of the Pegasus seat if the carriage is left at the bottom of the post?
Is there any attachments with a pulley system (stack) for the Omni? All these new attachments that have come out are only for the 5000. Asking if not I’ll have to look into getting a 5000. I’m missing out on so much.
Will this fit the holes on a Prime Single Stack (with the cable out of the way by moving the trolley all the way to the bottom)? I know that the hole diameters of different brands of 3x3 racks can vary slightly.
will their be a version of this seat for the selectorized lat pulldown on the 4000/5000? or an attachment to allow it to fit
You can use a utility bench, flip down safeties, and pop in rollers to do the same.
The people want a true leg extension/curl attachment
Exactly, almost got excited
We're working on a few options with target release dates this year. As we get closer to those dates, we'll share more.
@@REPfitness hopefully incorporates athena/ares in some capacity
@@eszlsk A remodeled belt squat for Ares would also be great.
Is this compatible with the REP Arcadia?
❤🔥
could this seat be used as a foot plate, wondering if it is wide enough/stable enough? I would like to potentially use this on an athena rack, mounting the pegasus fairly low and angling the seat to footplate-angle, and then set the athena trolley right above it, then positioning my bench in front of this upright, bracing my feet on the pegasus seat and doing seated cable rows
Doubt it’ll be wide enough for ya. You could use a spotter arm and get the Vesta Fitness foot plate and mount it on the end that’s what I Do with my Athena so I don’t have to sit on the ground.
@@zachritch1948 oh word, that sounds like a good solution, but also like +100 to the shopping list haha, what spotter arm do you use?
would the pegasus work just as well for lat pulldowns on the ares 2.0 as it does on adonis?
It would have to be done on the posts since there is not a way to connect the Pegasus to use the center lat/low row. As long as the upright is 1' holes it will work!
SO ARE YOU GUYS NOT MAKING THE NEWER EQUIPMENT COMPATIBALEFOR THE PR 4000?
Same question her!?!?
Are they gana be made for 5/8 racks
You read my mind!
He said it's gonna work for the 4000 racks (5/8) at 1:50
Hope so but I think he screwed up and said 4000. They don't even mention 4000 in the page.
If they made this as a rack, it’d give some serious competition for the prime HLP rack.
As it stands now, using this on the ares doesn’t make sense because there’s no high pulley and the adjustable trolleys are too low for most people to get full extension on pull downs.
It has 3 different attachment points. High for lat pulldowns. A low for rows. And an adjustable trolley for everything in between
Agreed. For pulldowns, maybe you can set it really low and just put your legs out straight to get full stretch from top trolley
The Ares has a built in lat pull down and low row, along with two adjustable trolleys. So full extension on pull downs is very feasible. Check out our walkthrough video/product page for the Ares.
@@REPfitness I have one. Unless you’re 5’6” or shorter, you’re not getting full extension on the front uprights doing lat pulldowns. Yes- you get full extension doing lat pulldowns INSIDE the rack but you have to McGyver rollers to keep your feet in tact, pull up a bench… so it’s a compromise. Same with rows inside the Ares- the pulleys are too low to use a straight bar and you’re also sitting on the floor. The Adonis solves most of these problems (all if you use the adjustable pulley for seated rows, just have to add a mountable footplate.)
@@BrandonSchwartz1 yes but barely; I’m 6’ and tried a similar setup with the prime seat and just barely get a good strength. Plus the cable needs to be offset further and you don’t get that either the trolley. This design is great- solves most of the issues, and is a better option than the Ares.
Can this be used in a private gym setting? Rather than a home gym?
It could be if the users are with trainers or more educated. Given the modulatory/uniqueness of the attachment, it would take some learning to use it.
Disappointed this doesn't seem like it could be used well on the rep ares. Only good for lat pull downs on one stack which for most isnt enough weight.
Seems like they dropped the ares and abandoned it.
@@alfredo31024 seems like there I'm the business of dropping as many products as possible and not really developing or building upon them. At this point kind of annoyed they just keep coming up with new shit n not taking care of loyal customers
The Ares is a flagship and super impressive product. It has both the lat pull down, low row and two adjustable functional trainer trolleys on the front uprights. We recommend just rolling up a bench with two leg rollers to accomplish the lat pull down. Low rows are on the ground using the foot plate. And the adjustable trolleys open up a ton of options for various other cable exercises. It was also meant to fit inside the footprint of an existing rack for those with more space limitations. While the Adonis takes up more space and only has one adjustable trolley. They are two different products, but we offer a lot of options with the selectorized lat pull down/low row, Athena, Ares, standalone functional trainers, and now the Adonis. Our goal is always to give our customers options so they can choose the best that suits their training style and space.
@@REPfitness thanks for the reply, the website and video says the Pegasus is usable by the ares so maybe I'm wrong. Does the cable clear the Pegasus and can you the trolley under it and do the chest supported cable rows and hypers, ect. As the Pegasus is intended to be used or is it just lat pulldowns.
If so it's disappointing you couldof added a pulley In the back or a gap for the cable! Maybe for ver 2? Lol
My FT-5000 just died a little on the inside...
Is it a seat is it a seal pad!? It's superman
