Those little sound effects as you click around and place things adds so much cozyness, it's a great choice that I've never seen (heard) anyone use before. I love that you spoke all the way through, I love hearing what you had to say and the entire thought process why you did what you did, and what your plans are. The music choice was also great and added a nice vibe to the video without distracting. The house itself is beautifully designed, and I love all of the clutter. The level of detail is super inspiring! I absolutely adore the personalised dorm rooms and the way you gave us a little back story to the person who will be living in the room. The old worn style of the building in combination with the modern style of a lot of the students' own stuff looks amazing, and really adds to the Uni feel. I bet you'll have a lot of fun playing in this dorm! The basement is so cool, I love how much thought you've put into it, and the buried secret as well :) The tour at the end was beautifully shot, so amazing

My goodness this video was cool! I was originally about to play it on 1/4th of my screen while playing Minecraft, but when I realized I really got into the video I had to watch it full-screen. Love it. Especially the role-playish tone worked so well!

I adore this and the creepy mystery element, also love the architwcture its making me want to do something with constrain floor elevation cheats but they do look super tricky haha
Thank you so much!! You should definitely check out anibats constrain floor elevation tutorial video here on TH-cam! It was always confusing to me before but she explained it super well and once you try it a few times it becomes much more intuitive and lets you make sooo many cool buildings!

I just luuuv this dorm! I playtested it, needed to get all the CC tho, but some meshes are still missing, like for the piles of books, some of front windows, the door or the loveseat couch, so I switched to look alike Maxis stuff. I tried to create the Sims like you describe, well now we have: a witch, a vampire and a nerdy alien obsessed guy with his alien baby + another lesbian gurl under one roof 😂 it iiis really fun to play! Some moments that I noticed: I can only travel to uni/go to the class, but somehow it is not possible to go by foot, using taxi or broomstick to the community lots! Like... are they trapped here foreverrr? New asylum challenge? We will see if they will get out when they graduated or will they age and just become the neigbours to the graves in the basement? Is it the reason they are there? Also I may need the mod to reach not reacheble objects like the easel, needed to move it a bit, also to turn the chess table. Somehow I could not use your chairs for the chesstable, the same as your desks + laptop + chairs. I replaced it with other same looking CC/Maxis stuff. Somehow the secret bookshelf door to the vampire dorm room doesn't work for me of is it really just a book shelf? So I need to teleport the vampire guy to the basement every time. Changes I made there - he got a toilet, a lil' fridge in his room and a trash can😅 poor young man. P.S. there is not that much space for the alien baby stuff in there, but in between of the rooms is a good coulderon & spell book area.
And another thing: at Maxis dorms there always townies that come to check in the remaining dorm rooms, I had only four sims move in, but somehow the last room is still unoccupied. No townies dare to try to check in here😂
Okay, the reason why MAYBE no townies are moving in is the rent price - 40k for four students... I was motherloding them hard to get in this really special facility. I don't know, maybe Alexander Goth only can afford such a dorm room price 🤔

@@antisocialbunbun I know there is a mod to set down the price of full decorated lots, so they are affordable, but I don't know how it's called. oh and also as you said, I needed to switch those counters so NPC will put the cooked meals there
