- happy to be back and sharing a new video with you guys! Today we are building and decorating a little diner that is going to be included in season 3 of my asylum letsplay series. In the video I will explain a little bit about how to make a diner-style roof, my thoughts about starting season 3, a cool open for business mod I found and more. Hope you enjoy!

If this diner were real I’d be a regular. As soon as you added the skeleton in the planter I was like YES
ur attention to detail is just amazing. even all the little things like the smoke effects on the incense sticks is so cool

Absolutely love this build! I love the vibes its giving off I can just imagine tourists going in to order some overpriced food and then take pictures with the bear (Who I propose we name Geoffery) Also all the little skulls and skeletons remind me of this store in my hometown which put up halloween decorations ONCE in 2008 and they never took them off. Same energy. SEASON 3 HYPE!!

love seeing the attention to detail and love you put into the preparation for season 3, i was truly impressed with season 1 & 2, please take your time for your artistic vision. ahh so excited! so much fun to see sneak peaks of places we will see our favorite sims at!

A retro futuristic grunge apocalypse challenge sci-fi desert - yep, I'm in, I'm sure I'll feel right at home. 😄 Loved this build with all it's details and the general vibe. And I had no idea that ofb mod existed! Thanks for mentioning that!

The diner turned out amazing, I think it totally captures the vibe you were going for! I'd definitely love to see more speed builds, although I'm most excited for Season 3 to come out! But take your time, it's more important for the content to be the quality YOU want rather than going for speedy releases. Great work as always, so looking forward to the start of Season 3, and any other amazing vids you release!

Omg the amount of DETAIL in this lot is mindblowing! It turned out so nice, and the roof trick with the CFE cheat was awesome, really creative ⭐ It's going to be incredible getting to follow you along and visit this lot down the line in season 3 and see it in action. I really can't wait, I miss your Asylum series so much ❤I have no doubt that it will be just as epic as the series has been up until now, if not more. I particularly look forward to seeing this epic new desert town you've built, and getting to know how things turn out for Barrett and Alphie.

Thank you SOOO much for mentioning the family business mod. I love OFB but I've always hated that you can't hire people in your household so you have to hire a bunch of townies you don't care about to help out.

omg yay, desert custom towns are my first and greatest love!! The main asylum hood is like the only lush terrain town I've ever made lol 💀 so I'm so excited to develop a desert hood!! I hope you will share pics of your hood once you finish!
Wow this fits so well with Strangetown as well! Love the over the top deco in te dining area! Your retro diner definitely beats my basic 60s diner I did a long time ago haha.

i can't wait for s3!! im looking forward to seeing your custom hood cause it looks so awesome already. it gives me like spin-off sims game vibes, like the handheld ones. i'm most looking forward to seeing how everyone's been doing since the end of season 2 and im curious if there will be any time jumps or anything like that. im excited to see serena as a teen too :)

The ending with the lighting thunder is so ..... interesting ! xD Especially with the skeletons decoration , it made the diner more spooky !

This desert setting reminds me of Stardew for some reason. Just a nice, cozy vibe overall
thank you! omg I love stardew, I never explored too far into the desert because I was annoyed that guy in the convenience store wouldn't let me go past him.. lol I never figured out how to get in!
I only ever figure stuff out thanks to the wiki lol. Getting past that bouncer is part of a weird side quest that starts when you go into the tunnel near the farm and look at the battery box. @@antisocialbunbun

i didn't know there are fallout conversions for the sims lmao, i loved the build, i didn't know you could do that sort of slope with the cheat, looking forward to s3. I'd love to see the cyberpunk casino, that sounds great
haha yes sims 2 has definitely had a long love affair with fallout conversions! If you google "sims 2 fallout cc" you can find tons of it, I think there's a big thread of all of them at garden of shadows too! And yeah it's amazing how powerful and flexible the constrain floor elevation cheat is, you can use it to make so many things! 💓
I love this build! One day I would love to be as creative as you when I make lots for my sims lol. If it’s not too much trouble I wouldn’t say no to more speed builds. They’re super inspirational!
Oh and I can’t wait for season 3 as well, but take all the time you need!

what reshade preset do you use?
I don’t use any specific preset because I like constantly adjusting my settings depending on the scene/hood lol 😅 I just use levels to raise the brightness a bit, vibrance to increase the colors, and in my desert neighborhood I use an orange tint on a really low opacity to help add some ~deserty vibes. To add ambience to night time scenes I will turn on bloom and also use vignettes to increase shadows. Apologies for super long answer lol 😆
I have got a problem for Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. Few days ago I started the game and I didn't even save anything but today it's not working I got some error on screen. Game didn't start just EA launch opened and I tried start on launch but it didn't work. Sims 2 just in EA games launcher Origin isn't usefull anymore but I couldn't find config file and other things can you help about that what can I do?🙏🏻 It's not working I got some error on EA Games Launch screen "you can double click on game tiles to quickly launch a game" Please can you help me?🙏🏻
hi there, I'm sorry you're having issues! I unfortunately don't use the ea launcher or origin so I don't have any insight on this. Have you tried looking at the sims2help subreddit? There will hopefully be someone there who is more knowledgable than me on how to fix your problem!

There's a few mansions of different styles, a trailer, some cottages and more! I put a link in the description for you. I can upload these specific recent lots in the future once I progress more on season 3 of my letsplay, just haven't had the time to package them yet since they have so much cc it'll take a bit! hi, ee sorry i didn't have it linked anywhere easy to find, i dropped a link to my reshade preset in the video description! it is super simple but I keep it on all the time, and in my desert hood here I use a slight orange tint as well to make it more ~deserty (the tint is included in the reshade preset). Besides that I use the maxis match lighting mod and I also use cluedosims defaults for tons of the maxis furniture which helps them look more smooth and match more! i'm so glad you like how my game looks, let me know if you have any other questions or issues with my reshade preset! 💓
