Cheers for that bud. Im in New Zealand and have the Nissan Cefiro A33 station wagon version ( Jap import) so right hand drive. I swapped the original nissan stereo out for a JVC unit a few years back. Car is being sold so the original stereo is going back in. Perfect refresher course on the order the trim comes apart. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. Was able to remove all the trim and wiring. Yes my 25 year old car is still running. The Bose still works but just wanted Bluetooth to connect my phone. HOWEVER in this video you didn’t finish the removal of the radio itself from the bracket. The 4 screws for the stereo is bolted down with super high torque. Probably to make it difficult to steal. Anyway I stripped all the threads so I had to drill them out. Didn’t have the right bit and impact tool. Other than that this video was perfect!
I have an A32, mine will be 30 years old in a couple months!! Still runs great (I have the jdm cefiro not the maxima).I want the old headunit cause im broke, and honestly prefer the ODM look. Taking my speaker out to solder a bluetooth receirver into it. Fingers crossed it works lol
This is helpful to me because it shows how you must first turn key in ignition to get shift lever to move back out of way. And that means you HAVE TO leave the car battery hooked up to do this job. Same with my 97 Altima. Either that or disconnect the battery after moving shift, with your key stuck in ignition and not turning all the way to lock position - and that just feels wrong. I've been all over the internet trying to get info about this. Thanks
Good info. Sounded like Darth Vader was the cameraman, breathing pretty heavily
sounds like he's having fun lmao

Wow thanks for the warning! Looks a lot more complicated than the Saturn I did once. I'll leave my Maxima to the professionals.

Actually no! If there's no power the shift lever moves freely!
Please don't pull on wires. Just the connector.
My rear bose speakers don't work. Is a loose wire behind unit a common problem?
Man you got Darth Vader recording you or what
