You can tell that you don’t waste so much time on the loading/pause screen between each phase. It’s a little touch, but it makes it a little less annoying to watch
I had so much trouble on this fight on BoC. Carlos kept using that instakill Wild Wave move, but eventually I beat the challenge.
IIRC, Nn Li has a video about this fight in a very conservative way. I followed that video's tips and it took for me 16 minutes but it was quite safe. Make sure you use Mega Explosion in wave IV to block the shackles from Carlos. I'm replaying a few challenges but the nerfs were great so many time-records are extremely hard to even reach, like Ken with Volcano.
BoC is doable. MCD is insane, overdrive didn't exist at the time when I tried.

Wouldn’t it have been easier to use Corvin’s evasion art against wild wave? Then you could just switch back to Elma to finish it and you wouldn’t lose time from the blowdown.
tbh at that point in his health bar maybe but the extra berserker slash also saves like 3 seconds so I'm not actually sure if it would be useful at that point

@@EnelXC As far as I know, it's no longer possible to do 3:34 vs Ken in BoC using Volcano. The starting DoT damage at best it's around 120k to 150k. I could only once start with 200k but it was extremely hard. So yeah, no more 999999 in just 3 smashes.
What nerfs?
@@puar6124 In the last update, Monolith nerfed the chips. I'm pretty sure this was for the main game so people couldn't abuse farming core crystals. In the past you could have up to 600% extra drop rate, using gold chips and Adenine. You could have 10 blades, the combatant and not combatant blades buffing your stats. In the update Monolith destroyed this, so you no longer get buffs from the non combatant blades, only the ones in the battlefield. This means strength, ether and some stats were affected because of this. You can test this vs Elma. It doesn't matter if you solo her with 3 blades or just Corvin, you don't get strength /ether/speed buffs from the common blades so yeah, the 24% extra per blade was lost.
@@juanjosedelpinorivas7099 I have no idea where you're getting any of this info. For one I already have a different strategy that's better now and two damage wasn't nerfed at all lol
