You can tell the writers and developers had a lot of fun making the comic relief moments in the game. It’ll be a long sequence of serious story and critically important information, then next thing you know you’re fighting a giant maid or getting called a pervert by you’re newly awakened blade who got into the guys sleeping room.
This sword of mine burns with a bright fire. Its blazing might tells me to defeat you! TAKE THIS! MY LOVE, ANGER AND ALL OF MY SORROW! BURNING... SWOOOORD!
In regards to the music and comedic quality, this track always reminded of the old Dragon Ball episodes where young 12 year old Goku would face off against opponents like Nam and Jackie Chun in the World Martial Arts Tournament.
Sure, the entire world might be dying a slow, agonizing death... BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T ENGAGE IN SILLY HIJINKS WITH A GIANT CHIBI MECHA MAID! This song is an absolute banger, btw.
I think part of this song also sounds like the music that plays during that part in Gundam where the main character, I forget his name, is like "This burning sword of mine glows with an awesome power! Its burning blaze tells me to defeat you!"

Think about it, he would've had a continuously growing army and economical pressure on his side since he controlled the trade guild. That's a lot of political leverage for a single furball. And he got super close to killing multiple important leaders (in fact he *did* kill one of them). Imagine the turmoil that could've caused, especially with Bana pulling strings in the background. Which is what makes that whole plotline so endearing in my opinion, it's silly and fun, but there's also real stakes.

The xenoblade 2 soundtrack is the best I've ever heard in a game. Like, this is one of the smaller story boss fights imo. Like, it closes out some smaller early game arcs in the story, but it didnt have to do with getting to the world tree or fighting torna or anything. Yet this is an incredible piece of music made specifically for this boss. I'm not one to really pay attention to music in video games, but this one really caught my attention. The soundtrack is perfect.
The Xenoblade Definitive edition soundtrack is also phenominal (although I'd say SLIGHTLY worse than 2's), and X's music is very different stylistically (different composer) but if you like the style you'll probably like it a lot (there are some bangers there anyways)
I finished the 'Bana's Revenge' side quest recently. It was a cool twist to fight his father in a boss battle. He rides a dragon. This theme even plays too.

the chances are probably low, but I hope there will be a boss fight like this in xenoblade 3, this might have been "too ridiculous for words" but it was gloriously ridiculous maybe put a music like this for the next bana?
You know what? In the second battle with rosa, you can only see bana inside her maid crown. Meaning muimui died. And if you lose the fight, bana goes on that "We did muimui! We won!!" In a triumphant tone. I think he values muimui as a friend and is mourning his death and avenging him.
But someone must have stuck that huge G on Giga Rosa's forehead, and I doubt it was Bana. Muimui probably just didn't want to be associated with the assassination of the queen.

Bana: MUIMUI!
I love that this is composed like some 90s mecha anime intro
The thing that first comes to my mind when i hear this song is Nia dancing on the back when i am doing chain attack 😆
bruh ive beaten this game twice and never realized: this shit slaps
1:03 - 1:29
I never caught how much it sounded like YWKON
Holy shit you're right
the chances are probably low, but I hope there will be a boss fight like this in xenoblade 3, this might have been "too ridiculous for words" but it was gloriously ridiculous
maybe put a music like this for the next bana?
I mean Gundam force who? Lmao I mean you can’t be anime without one mech arc/fight ya feel!
This song reminds me of "I Am Impact" from Mystical Ninja
You know what? In the second battle with rosa, you can only see bana inside her maid crown. Meaning muimui died. And if you lose the fight, bana goes on that "We did muimui! We won!!" In a triumphant tone. I think he values muimui as a friend and is mourning his death and avenging him.
Muimui was just arrested my guy
@@ontos8534 oh whoops but even so, muimui got arrested so technically, bana is still avenging him.
But someone must have stuck that huge G on Giga Rosa's forehead, and I doubt it was Bana. Muimui probably just didn't want to be associated with the assassination of the queen.
@@iancomtois9832 but again, muimui wasn't there. If anything bana COULD'VE done it himself after all.
Go get the, Gigantic Artificial Blade...RRRROSA!
nice... literally all 70’s mecha anime theme song lol 😆
