I agree with all of your comments. I have built and painted a fair amount of all of these miniatures. The ripper suits are my favorite once they were painted. Like most Mantic models they are not bespoke but I like them. They are good for the cost. I fee the value is worth it. I litteraly sold a large GW figure and funded my whole Marauder set. As far as wasted plastic GW charges more and have a ton of waste plastic.
Yeah, the value is really the best part of it. And like I said, it's recyclable, and the fact that there's less waste due to less packaging overall is a bonus. All in all, great times.
Wow Mantic has stepped up their game! I have not looked at their models in quite some time they used to be horrible but these look pretty cool! Never cared for firefight though. Kings of war on the other hand i think is a fine successor to warhammer fantasy. Thanks for showing these off!
Overall I've always been pretty happy with them. Are there better looking models? Sure. Are they as affordable as Mantic? Rarely. But luckily, they have just kept moving forward and gotten better as they go. I really should pull out some original Marauders and do some comparisons just for fun. As for KoW, I know that's the big dog, but man have I struggled with Rank and Flank games of fantasy. I need my laser guns and heavy tanks. But it has grown and been well received ever since GW decided to bus chuck an entire customer segment.
I don't mind having some extra parts, but there is a point in my mind where it just becomes wasteful. Like say the Marauders all had bits for EITHER ranged OR close combat, so essentially four arms per torso. That's great as an option, but it ends up being a lot of wasted plastic because you'll never use that many extra arms. So that's why I also look at the amount of "waste" material, some is acceptable, too much and the company should start evaluating costs and how to reconfigure the packaging.
The models have a lot of character; they give off a very '80s Schwarzenegger (think Commando or Predator) vibe. That said, the muddy details on the legs/boots (especially on the side) are a little subpar.

Also FF gameplay is awesome. I love it. Trying to convince others has been difficult.
That is literally my biggest frustration. I am NOT a ringleader. I can't build a community, but I will do what I can to support an existing one.

It’s an officer's cap the campaign hat is what the drill Sargents and Mounties wear!
Doesn't surprise me that I'd make a goof like that... :D
@@GamingWithADHD im not trying to be an ass by pointing it out. I literally researched it after I saw the video because I was curious.
@@ernestorodriguez3637no worries at all sir!
Waste? I love getting extra parts for kitbashing and conversions!

I honestly like the marauders over the enforcers, so much more easier to build
That's fair, they are way easier to build, but luckily all the models are getting better looking.
