If you're into miniatures, board games, RPGs, or anything in-between, there's something here for you. Being a gamer with ADHD, my interests are all over the place and I'm really excited to share it with you. And while there are tons of channels about the big names in the business such as Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40,000, and Dungeons and Dragons, I try to focus on smaller games and companies that you may not have heard of, but from time to time I'll look at the big names as well. And with thousands of games getting released every year, even those small gems deserve a look.
Battletech Legendary Mechwarriors 2 Figure Pack
Featuring four battlemechs and a vehicle, the Legendary Mechwarriors pack for Battletech lets you add more mechs to your collection based on legends from the Battletech universe. Featuring new takes on some classic deisgns, let's take a look at the new figures and their accompanying art!

Very smart, the blue and..I think that's bone, work really well :)
Name of this track ?
Steel Crusader. There’s an icon in the lower right that you can click on that takes you to the track.
Мародер отличная машина❤
It’s a classic for a reason
Nice
Thank you!
Thank you for covering the pilots, too.
Thanks! Was a sort of last minute addition, but I’m glad you appreciate it.
Yes... the Caesar does look good because they gave it rounded sections, which immediately makes it look different from the same-y "block-block" of everything else! Anyway... Kool Marauder, obviously I like it because...Macross...but yeah... Good seeing/hearing some Big MAC mention, too! LOL
Very cool set!
Where did you get this set?
We got the set off of Amazon for Christmas. amzn.to/3DJdDjD But also check their site because sometimes the discounts are better/different. www.funwhole.com
No dollar signs?
I promise, they're there, but the wash sort of drowned them out. But I was going for for a cbill icon, and it looks more like a euro. They/re on the upper arms, right knee, and left ankle.
As someone who also put this together your not alone with those gaps, I think it has to be because of the plastic they used.
Yay
I'm gonna need a turn table.
It’s very helpful. I think I need an upgrade though…
I like the worn parts, makes it look used.
Thank you!
It's cool.
Батлтек это ты?
I sure hope so!
Magnificent
Thank you!
Его установки Ракет Дальнего Действия это нечто😊😊 Сколько боев Кречеты выиграли благодаря эти РДД
I love the color scheme
Thanks!
Very nice, when I've tried this scheme following folks advice online it always looked like arse but you nailed it!
Thank you! This is one of my first figures that I painted since Clan Invasion. I'm glad it holds up. I wish I had used grays with a stronger contrast, but I do like the subtle nature of the scheme. There's other things I'd do differently now, but I'm still happy with how this came out.
*CHA'ALT*
dude this came out LOVELY!
Thank you! I wonder if a different blue would have been better, but it is definitely bold.
The flea, when what you need is a Locust, but more concentrated.
I played the Palladium system since 1985 till I quit around 2001. Lots of nostalgia. Actually have met Kevin Seimbeda a few times back in the day. A couple of friends of mine worked for him back in the day. Nice guy from what I remember. I ran my own Ninjas and Superspies/Beyond the Supernatural campaign, set in WW2, and ednded up re-making my own version of this book, focusing on WW2 era firearms. Wish I had published it. I found this book and the previous version to be woefully inaccurate and inadequate re realism and the exclusion on many common firearms. As a gun guy myself, and shooter, I had to adjust the rules for my campaings because as it was due to the way the SDC system and damage rules, in other campaigns, everyone ended up with a .50 Desert Eagle as their sidearm in campaigns, because in the book .50 AE does 6d6 where 9mm does 2d6! RIDICULOUS. Desert Eagle is one of the most useless and huge/impractical handgun ever. NOBODY carries those. But many carry 9mm, because in reality a 9mm is adequate for dealing with human threats. But the game mechanics had this stupid clunky piece of crap (Desert Eagle) being more powerful and effective than even most rifles, such as the M-16 in .556 Nato which in the game mechanics had a damage rating of 4d6! I wish I had had the opportunity at the time to discuss these finer points with Kevin Seimbeda, but I was only around 15 (and lacked the knowledge I have gained since then re firearms) to discuss this topic further. But back in the 80s this was a very niche topic and ballistics knowledge was not as well disseminated. Today, we have lots of great information on youtube alone. I think anyone truly interested in the effectiveness of firearms should check out a channel by the late great Paul Harrell. He is no longer with us, but his channel is still up being run by his brother and there is a great wealth of info re the effectiveness of various types of ammo and firearms. Here is a link: www.youtube.com/@PaulHarrell He uses what he calls a "Meat Target" to demonstrate the various types of ammo for example. Basically he takes a bag of oranges or a watermelon to simulate lung tissue, wraps a side of pork ribs over both sides, to simulate the rib cage, then places a pork chop over one of the ribs to simulate pectoral muscle and wraps it in duct tape to simulate skin then puts some clothing over it and he shoots it with various calibers from various firearms with barrel lengths to demonstrate penetration, wound channel, bullet expansion/fragmentation, etc. A very effective demonstration of the effectiveness of modern firearms. Some of the guys I played with got annoyed with my bringing up such topics (one reason I quit) but it really bothered me how a 9mm or even a rifle chambered in .308 Winchester in the game was still less useful in stopping bad guys than a bullcrap desert eagle. When I ran my WW2 campaign, which was based on Ninjas and Superspies and Beyond the Supernatural, I revamped all the firearms mechanics. The game was basically a mix of UFO and supernatural lore from that era. Fun stuff. But some of my players got annoyed when they got say, a head shot or hit the bad guy in the chest and I told them before rolling damage that the bad guy was dead. You hit a human being in the head with a 9mm, he is dead and rolling damage is pointless. But after a all my gaming stuff got stolen out of my car when I was teaching in Detroit, I pretty much gave up and found other things to do with my saturday nights. That said, it was fun while it lasted. Still, perhaps these books can use an update.
The only thing I don't like, is that these are old designs, and not quite follow the new aesthetics
That's true. I didn't notice that there wasn't much "redesign" on the dropships. But it is a giant sphere... so not sure how different you can make it... :)
Well, in MechWarrior 4 they remodeled them very nicely
Would be cool to have a “before and after” paint all in one video.
What I usually do in cases like this is I’ll do a “painted review” as well once I get there. In addition I usually paint live so you can watch along. My Rifts stuff should be getting to the table soon, so keep an eye out!
❤️🔥
That blue is nice...👌
Bruh Nauvoo? Are you a mormon?
I am indeed. I did the first figure as sort of a joke to see if I could make a Napoleonic uniform style work on a mech, and it sort of grew on me. So I figured why not. I currently have two lances, eventually I'll add to it. And I even have an idea for a "Black Widow Comanpy" sub-unit, of the "Mormon Battalion". But I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do that.
Dang I missed this live stream.
I still appreciate you.
Cobraaaaaa
lol! I never noticed that before!!!
Похоже на миниатюры технолога)
It's a Mailman! Look at postal envelope on the arms! =))
I didn't even notice that! Haha, good eye!
@@brazuno naw its cobra commander
oh this is a really nice scheme! What blue do you use?
Thanks! The blue is from Reaper, Ritterlich Blue. 09115 is the product code.
This was fun, Bryan; thanks for the interview.
If a start battletech rn it's because of you
Just remember, you DO NOT have to have ALL the mechs to play. You're even allowed to proxy them (I've used dice or tokens in the past!). The game is actually really reasonable in cost if you want it to be. And there's a reason it's on my "DO NOT REMOVE" shelf. ;)
@@GamingWithADHDI'm here for the mech I need more shelves Thank you btw
I used to hate all the PP designs, but many grew on me over time: The Bug mechs are kinda hit or miss. Locust being a big stand out as i don't mind the torso-laser being the way it is and i think there's later art of the PP Locust with a TAG in the torso and it's underslung like the original Locust, which does make it look a lot better) Scorpion and Goliath both, i think, look fine. Probably the two PP designs that i never hated as they kind of manage to keep the original feeling of the mechs. For the other 55 tonners, Griffin is fine, Shadowhawk looks too much like Cobra Commander from G.I.Joe, while the Wolverine, i personally like a LOT better than the Ilclan redesign, because it retains the head-mounted turret, instead of just having a generic rectangular window and a shoulder mounted laser-peg of the nu-Wolverine. The one that shocked me the most is probably the Marauder, because i HATED it for the longest time, but it started growing on me, relatively recently and i might actually buy an IWM mini of it, if i find one that isn't too ridiculously expensive to get shipped over to me (i like it, but i don't like it enough to buy it for >50$). ... Warhammer is the worst though and i don't think i'll ever like it, barring some sort of intense head trauma i might suffer from banging my head against the wall while looking at it.
The cross shapes represent infantry and are based on NATO military symbols. There is a whole system for military unit symbology which is commonly used for wargame counters because of their universal applicability.
I used the counters with the Battle of Tukayyid Supplemental, which includes measuring, scenarios, and record sheets specifically for Strategic Battleforce gameplay
Really do like this colour set up, its based on a Civil War/War of Independence unit right?
Pre Civil War. About 1840. But yeah, I like it too. It shouldn’t work on a mech, but it really does.
Probably my favorite of all the lance packs they released (still waiting for my to arrive from the kickstarter, probably gonna be waiting for long still, being in EU) And not just because it has a Scorpion in it, which is easily my favorite BT mech. I also really love the Vulcan (though i'd run the 5T variant over the default 2T)
The plog art of Scorpion has a Heavy PPC and an lrm10
I wish they kept the rounded skull face of the Loose's Pillager, instead of the angled squared off face of the new one.
I'm a big quadmech fan, i do like the new Goliath, but i still prefer the original's more lanky look with long legs and weird joints
Lol cool
I also have that exact model! I have an idea of converting it into a Chaos-corrupted Battlemech, I'm thinking of having it be Slaanesh align since there isn't alot of Slaaneshi conversions out there
hopalite has a version of ppc and lrm15
The PP Goliath is one of the better PP art
Completely agree.
I've seen all your Combat Zone videos, bring more! and we do edgerunners too 💪
I really should get back to those. I’ll put them on the schedule for after I get all my Battletech reviews done!
Тяжелый😊
Audio is on the low side.
Thanks. I've heard a couple reports so I'm testing some settings on future videos. Check the latest Battletech Force Pack review and I'd love some feedback if the volume is better.
Wow! I'd say that's worth 15 USD! Nice mini, man! =) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours! =)
Thanks! It's a really nice piece for the price. And Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!
Wow your like the second person I have seen that knows something about battle tech
It's been on my shelves for about 35 years, and I'm not getting rid of it any time soon. ;)
