My 2014 GT-500 when new averaged 25 MPG on HWY and 19 MPG City, 7 years later with bolt on aftermarket Mods is now averaging 22 MPG on HWY and 15 MPG City.

I bought a 2022 GT 500, Unless you're really gonna go racing on a racetrack the track pack is a waste of money. The stock seats are better than the Ricaro's they're heated air conditioned and powered, I also prefer the stock wing over that big goofy one, You can buy aftermarket magnesium rims for a lot cheaper than carbon fiber 2 if you want them.

I loved how Doug answered his own question about the price, and comparing it to an M4, with the onramp merge 5 seconds later.
Just had the one I ordered in 8/19 delivered yesterday, excited and a little apprehensive on letting the car fly!! Recommended to break-in for 100 miles before opening up the engine.
Thank you for the tutorial, now I don’t have to read the “quick over-view” booklet.

Just because a few people on the internet think it would be better with a manual doesn't mean ford will fucking recall every GT500 to put a manual in it. So you guys can buy it and be happy it has an auto and you don't have to preach "aUtOmaTicS aRe fAsTer" as if YOU can take this car to the absolute limit anyway... And yes we fucking know the DCT is faster, some of us just prefer the greater feeling of control and connection to the car you get from a manual. That's ok, not everything has to be about absolute speed all the time. I'm not saying it shouldn't have a DCT, I'm just saying I wish it had a manual option. @Auto blipper let me remind your small brain that the Shelby is a road legal car. Not because it’s track focused that mean it is only useable on tracks.
There are different cars in different trims available at different times ( recording with, driving, etc). This is common at press events / press cars in general. Sometimes you see someone review a red car but they drive a blue one

If you noticed it’s chassis model was (prototype production 0012), odds are he’s not driving the track package prototype and he’s driving one of the other numbers 1-11 or 13+ because Ford doesn’t want the more expensive one on the road 😂
